Good evening Ladies,

Since I'm never online early enough in the morning to be in the first few to post, I figured I'd start one early tonight!

So I strayed off plan a little bit tonight - but not too bad (I hope). We had taco salads for dinner, and I just couldn't resist the shell. 26 grams of carbs right off the bat, along with 3 grams of sugar. EEK. :nono: I guess I somehow justified it as being better than having 3 or 4 tacos with a tortilla shell. I topped the salad off with some lf shredded cheddar cheese and some lf sour cream (again not the best choice). But I've been on p1 for about 2.5 weeks now and this is the first time I cheated. I know, I know - it was naughty. But gloriously sinful! :s:

I also decided to bake :chef: the DB his birthday cake tonight. And of course I had to taste the cake mix before stuck it in the oven. I didn't miss it as much as I thought I did. It was very sweet, and not nearly as good as I remember it. So that's a plus I guess. ;) And now I have a stomach ache. :( Serves me right for being naughty tonight.

Okay beachies, I'm going to go read in bed for a bit and then hit they hay. Big weekend coming up with DB's birthday and all. As I've discovered tonight, it may be easier to stay OP than I originally thought!! YAY! :carrot: :carrot:

Mod note: Merge Thread into Friday's Daily Thread.

TGIF and Happy St. Patrick's day to you all! I'm not big into the festivities, but St. Patrick's Day is a big deal here. I'm not sure if it's still this way, but a couple of years ago, they said that KC has the 3rd largest St. Patrick's Day parade in the country (behind Boston and Chicago). Go figure!

Looks like I'm staying in for most of the weekend. Thought one of my sisters and her two boys were going to be coming to town, but that fell through. I think I'm finally going to go buy a carpet cleaner and steam clean my carpets - something that is LOOOONG overdue.

Dare - Look at you! I know it was in a different message, but posting the night before DEFINITELY takes the award for the earliest posting! :lol3: Have a great time with DB's birthday!

Everyone have a great weekend!

" And the rest 'o the day to yerself, McSchatzi!"
Me dear departed Mither, may God rest her soul, was as Irish as she could be. It figures as her name was Mary Oderiah Veronica McGowan. We had green porridge for breakfest, green milk at noon and always corned beef and cabbage with taters for supper. A bit of Bushmills was usually in evidence by sundown as well. I have corned beef simmering in the crockpot for tonight but will skip the Irish Whisky part of the celebration.

Schatzi, can I have a wee bit of Bailey's in my cawfee?

Jana, too bad your weekend plans fell through. I've rented a carper cleaner and should do it again but not this weekend.

I see McSchatzi has merged Dare's post with this thread. It certainly was an early start! Dare, I just use chili powder instead of those packaged mixes. Be strong this weekend - it does get easier.

It's really sunny out there today but still well below freezing. I have started a list of garden clean-up jobs but it's too cold for that today. This afternoon I'll take one of The Girls and go to visit Harry. They have a wee St. P celebration for the residents which will make the visit easier. This morning I intend to FINISH the sleeve shortening on that black jacket I bought in the fall! I want to get the darn alterations out of the way so I can sew new stuff for Spring!

Have a Super Friday!

Hi Ladies:)

We're lucky as a neighbors daughter is taking us to Boston this morning,so we won't have to deal with the crowds expected this weekend for St. Patricks Day. I had my soda bread this morning and will have some other type of Irish Meal tonight. We at Falls River Diocese are despensing us from eating meat on St Patricks Day Fri during Lent. Going to have a corned beef sandwich along with boiled little cabbage[brusel sprouts] & potatoes. Then when hubby is feeling better we will have the Transitional Irish Dinner.

W-I this morning stayed the same, maybe tomorrow there will be a lose,as I'm not eating any lunch today.

Hugs :) BB

:jig: HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY! :jig:

I'm not Irish, but I've always loved the festivities of the day! I think the girls and I will make some Irish Soda Bread today. I had wanted to give them "Green Eggs & Ham" for their lunch today, but they weren't too keen about that. Maybe I'll slip a bit of green food coloring into their milk and tell them the Leprauchans did it. :p

It's sunny here today, but freezing cold. Thank goodness we didn't get any of the snow that was in the forecast! I'm soooooooo ready for Spring!

Tomorrow we're going to my nephew's Confirmation, then my brother is taking everyone to Texas Roadhouse. It should be fairly easy to stay OP there, as long as I can resist their yummy rolls with Honey Butter! Maybe I can bank some calories and save my starchy grain serving for one? I'll just have to wait and see how I feel. :) Sometimes the guilt's just not worth it!
I'm off now to fix some breakfast and get dressed for work. Have a great day!

Morning is my interview....wish me luck. I'm off to review my resume & put my AVON order in!

Morning Chicks and HAPPY ST. PATTY'S DAY!

I'm (partially) Irish, but no festivities for me today other than the wearin 'o the green. No one else in my house will eat corned beef, so I'm not going to waste the time to cook it just for me. I've been pretty much awol this week as the 3yo had a tummy bug. She ended up sharing it with me, but luckily it didn't hit me nearly as bad. Stayed OP for most of the time this week with the exception of saltines and full-sugar gingerale yesterday. Amazingly the scale was down a pound this morning, but it seems too good to be true, so I'm not changing my ticker yet.

Dare - good luck with the birthday party this weekend!

Jana - when you're done with your carpet, wanna come do mine? It's in such desperate need of a good cleaning......time to add that to my to-do list.

BB :grouphug: Hugs to you and DH!

Cottage - I tried the green milk thing with my DD this morning....she wasn't that amused. I remember when I was little I used to love having green things on St. Patricks Day....maybe she's too little yet?

Soon - Good Luck today!!!
Schatzi, Ruth, - Hope you all have a great day!

03-17-2006, 10:11 AM
Well as usual I got sidetracked!

Dare: here's some :dust: to help ya with the bday weekend!
Jana: I looooove my carpet cleaner.. it's a bissell proheat.. it does a great job on the carpets and couches.

Ruth: Baileys..YUM! I'm half it was always a big event in my house, and the town where I grew up was mainly Irish, Italian and Polish. Big Parades! Lot's of pints! and lots of drunk renditions of "Oh Danny Boy" In our house the traditional toast was "Up the Rebels!"...

BB: Irish soda bread... oh oh oh ! I love it !!!! Enjoy yer day in Bean town darlin'

Cottage: WOULD YOU LOOK AT YER TICKER!!! YOU ARE DOING SOOOOOOO GREAT!!!! :bravo: Enjoy dinner and the Confirmation!

Soon: I don't need to wish you luck darlin, you are a STAH! And you willllllll get this promotion and new store..The Great Schatzarina knows zee Zings! Yay!

Morn Kelly

May the Wind at yer back
not be the result of corn beef and cabbage

Happy St. Patrick's Day Ladies!!

I thought you guys would get a laugh out of the early post! :D I just felt so guilty for being naughty last night. But on the brighter side, I have already turned down a :cookie: from the company's pep team (in celebration of wearing green for the day). I swear this company comes up with more excuses to have food days....there's like one each week! Then people wander around with their gigantic plates of food piled high and wonder why they're gaining weight! :moo: :sumo: Sheesh. Okay, enough of that.

Well, tonight starts the DB's birthday festivities. We're going to the restaurant of his choice for dinner (which will undoubtedly be someplace Italian, like Olive Garden) "Sigh" I don't think I will be able to pass up their breadsticks if we go. So I guess I will just have to work extra hard at the gym tomorrow morning and PRAY that I don't gain too much weight back. :goodscale

Jana...Good luck cleaning the carpets! With two dogs and a DB who tracks his shoes all over the house, it seems almost pointless for me to attempt that more than once every 6 months - 1 year.

Ruth - Enjoy the cold sunny day with the girls!

Cottage - Green eggs and ham. No thanks I'll pass. When I was in high school they had Shamrock Shakes during our lunch our (vanilla shake w/ green food coloring), which went down well, but didn't stay down all day. I don't think I'll ever touch anything unnaturally green again! LoL :) Oh, but good luck with Texas Roadhouse - that is my all time fav place to eat!! :hungry: So I feel your pain with the honey butter rolls!! Soooo good!

Soon: :goodluck: on the interview!!!

Okay everyone, off to a morning meeting. I'll check back in later. Have a great OP day!!

03-17-2006, 10:16 AM
Too funny, Schatzi!

I just remembered soemthing my Dad used to do every St. Patrick's day. He would put green food colouring in the toilet tanks. When we flushed green, he would tell us that we'd flushed down a leprechaun! For years, we believed him!

Gotta jet! The morning is slip, slip, slipping away!

03-17-2006, 10:22 AM
Happy Saint Patricks Day!!! :lucky:
While I don't get to do My traditional Celebration--the parade in NY This Irish girl is in green and green nails and we're going out to see a band tonight and have our Corned beef and Cabbage last weekend we went to the parade where my Mom Lives and Had Ham and CAbbage (whish is akin to the traditional Bacon and cabbage) But thats not our tradition!
I decided to do Ph 2 and journal my food emotions etc. . .I even started a blog
and and and! I exercised for 90 minutes so far this week I just got my bike put up in the office and I started using it last night for about 20 min I could have gone longer but I didn't want to overtax my shoulders (its an arm bike) for the first time
The big thing I'm focusing on now is portions and exercise
now that I worked through that I don't feel like such a fake posting!
Kieran Bridget (How's that for Irish?)

03-17-2006, 10:32 AM
happy pattys day to you!

Not irish here but dh's is part and a huge ND fan so GO IRISH:D Also my son went to school head to toe green, must be a big holiday for kindergartners:)

Off to workout with Vinny...Yo Vinny...I actually got my friend to do it with me so we can save on the PT fees.

So after a little me time, I have to pack dinner for everyone so that we can run from Tae Kwon Do straight to t-ball all without stopping at the drive thru...

03-17-2006, 10:47 AM
Good morning all!

Despite being around Boston, being Irish and being named Erin, I never participate in St. Patrick's festivities -- except for eating corned beef and cabbage. I love it. I can't imagine corned beef is all that SBD-friendly, though. It'd be terrible to break my more than two-month streak of not cheating on the diet, but, well..... I really, really want corned beef! Any ideas for making it as painless as possible? I'll skip the potatoes and just eat cabbage, turnip and carrots.

Hope everyone is having a great day!:D

03-17-2006, 11:20 AM
Happy St. Patty's Day! Ok, I'm not real big on the holiday, but who cares? My heritage is Irish, but we just never did much to celebrate. (except wear green if ya didn't want pinched ;) ) My boy made a paper St. Patty's Day tie at school yesterday. I'm gonna let him wear it all day (if he can stand it that long).

Well, I forgot to weigh myself this morning before I ate breakfast. Just out of curiosity, I weighed after and was still down a pound! (You think that means I was actually down 2 pounds before breakfast? One can hope!)

 My boy's watching Blue's Big Music Show (I'm sure all you mommy's know what I'm talking about) and he's singing AND DANCING to the music. :carrot: Soooooo cute!

I'm leaving town tonight and going up to Indy. Not sure how op I'm going to be, but I'm sure going to try. This weight loss has been a lot easier than I expected, and I sure don't want it to stop or GULP go the other way!

I'll talk to you all later!

03-17-2006, 11:23 AM
Good morning ladies...and Happy St. Patty's day too! Well, I'm off to a good start (I think!) I had a spinach and mushroom omelet with a couple cups of coffee this am and now I'm downing the H20. I'm really not sure what to do about dinner because I had bought a corned beef brisket (which I will still cook for the family) but I'm not sure if I can have it on ph1. We're supposed to go to the il's tonight for a seafood feast! Yeah! I guess I'm okay there but I still wanted to do my traditional Irish supper too. Any advice girls? Well, I went to aerobics last night. It's an hour and 15 minutes long. I feel so good when I leave there!

Dare Good idea posting last night!!

Jana I know what you mean about the carpets being long overdue for a

Ruth I wish I'd learned how to sew a long time ago! I'm lucky if I can sew a
button on a shirt! I'm anxiously waiting for warmer weather so I can
plant my flowers, herbs, and veggies!

Beach Bum Have fun in Boston! I've never been and would love to go

cottagebythesea I love the green food coloring in the milk idea! I must have
been a deprived child cause my Mom never did anything
like that for me!!(lol) I think I'll use that one for my little
ones, I'm sure they'd get a kick out of it!

soon2B GOOD LUCK!!!

Kelly Sorry to hear that you and your little one have been sick! Hope
you're feeling better now!

KO Good Job with the excercising

Batmomm My ds worried me to death all last week about how he HAD to
wear green today so he wouldn't get pinched!

Sun Lit I have the same issue! I desperately want some corned beef but
don't want to mess up!

To anyone I might have forgotten.....Have a great OP Day girls!

03-17-2006, 11:26 AM
Ruth ~ Thanks for the toilet idea! I just have to try that one on my girls!

Soon ~ :crossed: !

03-17-2006, 12:03 PM
Well, corned beef IS a bit salty. I chose a very lean piece and plan to have a smallish serving and drink lots of water. I am expecting a water weight gain but my Irish family will be rising from their graves if I don't eat it today!

03-17-2006, 12:05 PM
All the festivities, I've got to join in with ya! I marrit an Irishman, dear grandfather was Irish anyhoo. I'm a Scots meself. I haven't even thought about green today. Shame.

You all sound like you are doing good.

Beach...still hugging you:grouphug: are sooo profound with your Irish saying! Where do you come up with that stuff?

Ruth, me love, thank you for the green toilet water idea! It's getting used in this house today!:yikes: Poor leprechan!

Hoosiermom, have fun on your little trip and be strong!:dust:

Sunlit, enjoy a meal. Sounds like your plan to skip the taters is a good one.

batmomm, you sound an exercise maniac. Sounds fun. I've wondered about an exercise trainer to give me some good ideas but they are way pricey. fingernails! The Irish would be proud.

daretolove, I know what you mean about food days and work. It's horrid. Yesterday our manager brought in homemade cookies. She's lost about 40 pounds doing WW, she doesn't eat treats, she just makes them and brings them. It's frustrating because she knows there's about 5 of us that are doing various diets. It's like she's trying to sabatoge us. I resisted by the way.

Kelly, way to go on the pound!:carrot:

soon2be! GOOD LUCK!

cottage, have fun at Roadhouse, I know I couldn't resist the rolls there! They are so evil:devil: It will be fun to be with family!

Well, for me, it's homework, homework, homework, then housework. I do have something to look forward to however! I'M GONNA BE A GRANMMA AGAIN TODAY! Yup, the DIL is being induced! AND after 3 grandsons, this one is a girl! I don't know if I can stand it. It's a 3 hour drive to see them but I think we'll drive there tonight and see the new "little leprechan" and maybe bring the boys home with us for a few days. I'll go play gramma next week and stay and help take care of the family! I hope to be able to stay OP, I've been such a good girl lately. Day 11 of P1........I'm looking forward to oatmeal!

Well, hugs to all and good McWishes!

03-17-2006, 12:09 PM
Happy St. Patty's Day chickies. :lucky: I'm celebrating this morning by eating Green Pepper for my morning snack. :p

I have been swamped at work this week and DD has an awful cold so I haven't had time to address everyone individually - so I hope everyone is well!

I was very delighted to see this morning on the scale that I'm done 1.5 lbs so far this week - official weigh in isn't until tomorrow morning so hopefully it will stick! :crossed: That will put me down 11.5 lbs in 5 wks of SB. WHOOOO HOOOOO!!!! :carrot:

Have a great day chickies!

03-17-2006, 12:10 PM
Happy St. Patrick's Day!!! :kissluck:

Here's a photo of me. I'm wearing green for the occasion.

I hope everyone gets through the night without drinking any green beer (myself included)!

Have a wonderful & OP day!

03-17-2006, 12:30 PM
The Daily Dish talked about corned beef this morning:
Have a Happy, Healthy St. Patrick's Day

While you may have grown up enjoying corned beef on St. Paddy's Day, adopting a healthier lifestyle means it's time to start a new tradition. Don't worry, it can still be delicious — and that's no blarney! Because corned beef is extremely high in saturated fat, it's not recommended when you're following The South Beach Diet™. Instead, pair this scrumptious (but healthier) alternative with the traditional side of cabbage.
The link goes to a recipe for pepper crusted tenderloin of beef which actually looks pretty good (but not very Irish!)

Personally, I think anything is okay once a year - so enjoy! I happen to be about 1/4 Irish so I have on my "Everyone loves an Irish Girl" shirt today. The company provided a special breakfast this morning with green scrambled eggs and green pancakes. They also had bacon, ham, and lots of other unhealthy stuff. I had already had my bowl of oatmeal so I just had some of the fresh fruit they provided. Thank goodness they didn't have any pastries. Those are harder for me to resist.

Brian has on his green sweatpants today even though they are a few inches too short and have a run in one knee. He wanted to wear them and the only other green he had was a shirt. Since he has a field trip today, he has to wear his blue field trip shirt. Packing a lunch for him today was tough. He wanted fresh strawberries, ham and cheese rollups, apple juice, and Cheddar snack mix. I sure hope they do keep the sacks cold. Any other kid would take a peanut butter and jelly sandwich!

Oh, Texas Roadhouse and Olive Garden are both in the new South Beach Dining Guide. I don't have it with me at work but maybe someone can find suggestions for you two who are dining out. As for me, we are having Halibut in Parchment over zucchini and tomatoes tonight. I have leftover 3 bean salad and coleslaw to have it.

03-17-2006, 12:35 PM
Hi everyone! Wow, you guys have been busy this morning. I just got back from running errands and I'm about to clean up the house and then head out for my walk.

Not much new to report. I actually have the entire weekend free of any plans, feels kinda weird. I'm thinking of taking the kids shopping tomorrow and checking out the new spring/summer clothes. Of course it's cold again here but we can still look and dream of warmer weather, right?

The kids had lacrosse practice last night and Abby had Brownies right after so I didn't eat dinner until 8pm. Not good I know, I think I'll just have to eat dinner by myself before practice and just feed everyone else later. I also need to get more organized now that we have practice 2 nights a week and games will be starting next week on Saturdays.

I found out yesterday my son has a failing grade in science and social studies. He struggles in school and his teacher this year hasn't been very willing to work with us on that. It's been upsetting because most teachers are so willing to help but she does not want to put any extra effort into anything. So, she tells Trevor yesterday that he is failing and it's the end of the marking period so he only has next week to bring his grade up by taking tests. He does miserably at tests. I asked if we could do some extra credit work and I also told her that I was totally unaware of how badly he was doing because he never has science or social studies homework. I see his tests from time to time which he normally fails, sometimes he may get a C but I don't know what he's getting on regular classwork. I guess I should've been paying more attention but I focus so much on his reading that I just didn't.

Well, I really need to run and get some things done around here. I'll try and check back later!

Tar675 - Got your PM, too bad we don't live closer!

Have a great OP day everyone!

Morning everyone and HAPPY ST. PATTY'S DAY.

Don't normally post very much in the daily thread (mostly just a lurker) but just had to share a NSV with you today. My hubby and I joined a gym the end of January and we use one gym bag to take our change of clothes in each day as we go right after work. Well hubby ended up not being about to make it last night and I just grabed my shirt out of the bag (not knowing he had packed matching shirts that day).

I was putting it on and muttering and cussing because I couldn't believe how tight it was fitting. I was thinking "I've been busting my rear 6 days a week for almost a month and now look at this I can't even fit into this d@mn shirt cause I'm so fat." And OK a side note here I didn't really want to be there anyway and was having a hard time motivating myself last night to get my butt moving.

Anyway long story short (I know, I know, to late :) ) it wasn't my shirt that I had just put on it was his which had never fit before and is two sizes smaller than mine. WOOO WHOO!!:carrot: :carrot: I couldn't believe it. I was so excited that I ended up do a few minutes extra on my work out because it had me motivated again. Amazing what little things can do!!

RNMOM - Congrats on your new granddaughter!

Schatzi - Wind at your back. Amen sister, Amen.

Sorry I don't have time to post to everyone but I hope everyone has a great OP St Patty's day and weeked!!

Good Morning Ladies~

Hope everyone has a good weekend and a good day today, the next 2 days are gonna be hard for me... slim pickens, and dont go to the store till Monday.. sooooooooooooo we will see how it goes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Take Care All

03-17-2006, 12:57 PM
I lost 1 LB and I can't beleive it cause its TTOM and I feel huge but now of course I feel skinny:cheer: . I was worried cause I went away with my mom and darling kids to a water park and thought I would go off plan and I didn't:carrot: . Anyway, kids are home for March break till monday and I haven't even stressed eaten, so hopeful I can keep this up. Went to a spin class last night and boy oh boy, my butt and inner area is killing me. Hopeeveryone has a great day, and H[COLOR="DarkOliveGreen"]Happy St. Patty's Day to all!!!

3darlingsmomma~ I hate when teachers wait until the end of school year to inform you of your child's struggles. My DS(7), has struggled in school since JK(He just wants to play al day, no working), and I have approached his teacher several times with a true concern for his progress and she just lets him continue to slip through the cracks. He needs more attention and we try at home but I'm not a teacher and its hard so, here's a  for you. Hope your son and you can at least work together to improve his grade.

03-17-2006, 01:07 PM
Hi all,

Tomorrow ends my 3rd week of SBD is the first day that I'm feeling challenged. I feel myself wanting to break! I had two breakfasts at home was Uncle Sam's with fresh strawberries. Then my gf calls wanting to meet so she can give me my FIVE BOXES OF GIRL SCOUT COOKIES. Ok so we go to a diner since she didn't eat and I got one egg and canadian bacon. I know I won't be hungry for lunch so maybe I can just get away with a snack til dinner. Oh and my workout got pushed out of the way.

Soon- good luck on your interview!

KO WTG on your workouts!

RNMOM Congrats on your new granddaughter! Very exciting.

3darlings Sorry about your son's grades. That's terrible that the teacher wasn't more helpful earlier on.

Sheba LOL about the shirt but congrats that it fits!

Crock Have a great weekend...:dust: Here's some willpower for you to get thru with what you've got!

Those celebrating, I hope you have a great time!

03-17-2006, 02:38 PM
WAHOO!!!!!!!! My holiday has finally arrived! Not to send anyone over the edge or anything, but in an hour and a half, I will be having potato pancakes drizzled with white cheese sauce and drinking green beer. Today is my day! You girls just don't know how excited I am! This day helps me with my bridesmaid dress depression.

I will be wearing my green "Kiss Me I'm Irish" t-shirt and my red hair goes so well with it! Hopefully we'll get some good pictures and I'll be able to post one or two. Back to work! Hope everyone is great!!!!

And to all a good night.

03-17-2006, 02:52 PM
Hey Everyone,

Reading everyone's posts, found me contemplating drinking beer tonight. Guess I'll just stick with wine though (and let's hope that my willpower stays strong). The BF and I are going to Dave and Busters for a date and then meeting up with some friends at a local bar. Supposed to be rainy all weekend which stinks because it's South By Southwest (huge music festival) here in Austin and the BF is playing 2 shows.

Hope everyone has a great St Patrick's day.

WEEZLE IT IS SO NICE TO SEE YOU WITH A SMILE ON YOUR FACE! You are always smiling in your photo but I can just feel you smiling in your message.

Take care ladies.

03-17-2006, 03:15 PM
Lookie here we got Leprauchans

:cupgold: :luck2you: :patrick: :kissluck:  :irish:

03-17-2006, 03:51 PM
The little Leprechan arrived weighing in at 8 pound 9 ounces!!!!!

McGramma's Irish eyes are smilin'!:luck2you: :luck2you: :goldpot:

03-17-2006, 03:55 PM
Muffin It sounds like you're doing great...keep up the good food choices! Ya might wanna give those girl scout cookies away though! That would be way too much temptation for me.

scrappin What's a spin class?

Crock Good luck...YOU CAN DO IT! Resist the temptation!

Sheba Too funny! I'm glad it was dh's shirt and not yours! You were all stressed for nothing huh?

3darlings Sorry you're ds's struggling in school right now. I know how frustrating that can be cause I'm going through the same thing. It definitely doesn't help that his teacher isn't being very cooperative or helpful! My ds is very forgetful. I'm not sure if it's conveinent forgetfulness or what because he always remembers when it comes to something that he wants. He always forgets to bring home the books that he needs to study with, study guides, etc. Needless to say it has been a rough year! Right now he's failing 2 grades.
Yep, it's too bad that we don't live closer together!

Barb Good job on resisting temptation!

Demeter Never had green beer....however, a michelob ultra wouldn't be bad right now! I miss that soooo much! I always would have a beer or glass of wine while cooking dinner before but now.....well you know how it goes!

CKB Congrats on the loss!

Ruth I'm still debating on that evil corned beef!

Once again, thanks too all of you ladies who are so supportive of eachother as well as me!Have a great weekend! ~Tara~

03-17-2006, 03:56 PM
Congrats RNMOM!!! I know you are so proud!:carrot:

03-17-2006, 04:44 PM
Congrats on the new baby RNMOM, my son weighed 8lbs 9oz, he was such chunky little thing, now he's tall and thin, where does the time go?

03-17-2006, 04:51 PM
Congrats RNMom!!!!!
Just got back from my interview....lasted almost 2 hours! The interviewer was a litle if I get this position he will be my boss....great. Ugh...oh well I have I have the rest of the day & Sat & Sun all to myself - Hurray!

Tar675~ spinning class is basiccally a bike and you are able to increase and mdecrease the resistance as instructed by the cclass leader-it was OK but the instructor is not the best cardio instructor, she'sd better at strength training.
