What brand do you prefer? (Luna? LA Lites?)

What's your favorite flavor? What have you tried and didn't like?

--------

I'm a big fan of Zone and Luna bars. My favorite Zone bar is the chocolate almond biscotti and Chai Tea for Luna bars. I'm not sure Zone bars are a good substitute for LA Lites, though - but they taste so good!!! :carrot:

LAST day of my Fast Forward is today!!!!! FREEEEEDOM!

I use the LA lites and I've tried all their flavors and found I like the lemon the best and the choc chip cookie the least, as that one is to sweet. I like their biscottis also, but I don't eat them as often as I don't like wasting a starch on them. I haven't tried the Luna bars.

I prefer LA lites over Luna, Pria, or balance. I LOVE peanut butter, but like the Caramel ones too. I think Luna ones are blah. The Pria peanut butter whatever are pretty good. I got the Pria chocolate mint something tonight at Target because instead of 5 in the box, it had 3 free for the same price, so...8 for 4.29 I think. Much cheaper then 7 for $14. I still buy one box a week from the center to have my "good" bar at night!

My favorites are the new caramel that taste like snickers and the new chocolate fudge brownie, 10 seconds in the microwave and the scoop of low fat ice cream and taste like "molten" my favorite dessert from chili's.

I have just started and have tried a few bars so far. Chocolate Crunch is good and the Lemon (which I thought would be horrible) was surprisingly good.

Hey Marissa-

I'm in Fort Worth too!

I was surprised to like the lemon lites but do-I really like the peanut butter lites, and fudge brownie and choc. coconut. I don't like fruit and nut, or honey nougat. I was surprised how good (better really) than zone or pria - i recently tried luna smore's flavor and was not crazy about it. To me, the lites don't have the more vitamin-y aftertaste that some bars do.

Have a great day!

Has anyone tried the Kelloggs Vector Energy Bars? I tried one of the Berry Burst bars last night and it was great! Very moist....almost cakey.....with a yogurty dip on one side. Yummy!

I compared it to the LA Lite bars and it looked pretty good. The details re: the Kelloggs bar are: 220 cal, 8.8 g protein, 4.8 g fat, 35 g carbs, 2.4 g fibre, 45 mg sodium, 230 mg potassium. I was surprised to see that it was quite a bit less in terms of sodium than than LA Lites.

Pinkflamingo68 - yeah, I wasn't that impressed with the Luna Smores flavour.

I haven't seen those bars before, but if you eat 2 a day that is 80 calories more than lites...like a whole starch serving. You could eat one of those and then have one of the 110 calorie prias or the 140 calorie south beach bars every day and it would even out.

I have seen Kelloggs Krave bars...not sure if they might be similar.

Good point Mary, I hate to admit it....but I never even thought of the extra 80 calories in eating 2 bars. I just looked at the initial calories and thought well, gee that isn't much more so it is probably ok. Yikes! I see now why it has been so easy for me to pile on the pounds....that has been my approach with everything.....it isn't that big, it is only one little piece, there aren't that many calories, etc....

I like your idea of having one Vector bar and one of the Pria bars to even out. Thanks! :-)
