I have been going out and meeting new friends for my kids and I. My husband is very happy with what I have lost and appreciates my efforts. I look forward to getting on the scale.

Ive gotten off my butt and become more active. Also, I have arthritis in my knees due to a high school accident I never had fixed (no longer have cartalige in either knee) and they hurt a lot less. I used to want to cry going up 6 steps on my stairs, now I don't!:D

I've got more energy. I feel better about myself (THAT is a big one!).

I can again wear clothes that I had outgrown, so now I have a bigger wardrobe!

my oldest dd is no longer ashamed of me and actually asks me to go places with her to asks me to her games.

I'm more outgoing, more open with people, I enjoy REALLY talking to people and I'm not worried every time I go somewhere that everyone is talking about my size.

and frankly, sex has gotten much better. Too much information, I know, but it's a major perk :)

I got re-married to the most wonderful guy in the world.

I have a ton more energy and feel lots better.

My knees hurt less and I can breathe better.

I fit in movie theater and airplane seats now.

My hair looks healthier and so does my skin.

I've only been on Atkins one week, but I am amazed how much better I am feeling already... my energy level is definitely up. We're going to the zoo this weekend & for the first time in quite a while, I am looking forward to trekking all around with DS :)
