Default New to the site i have one quick question??

Does anyone know what I should be looking for when buying food for the south beach diet? Am I looking for sugars vs. protein? calories? someone else told me they look for fiber? Someone else told me if its on the list in the book then you can have it no questions asked, and I didn't feel like that could be right. I just wondered what other people are looking for when preparing their meals. Thank you in advance for your help. Nicole

WElcome Bella... Here is a link to the emergency handbook for phase 1... as a guideline, look for 3 or less grms of sugar.. and yes, high fiber regardless of what plan you follow is always good..

Good luck
