I knew I would be off track on Saturday night..but didn't realize it was going to be a whole WEEKEND thing! ARGH!!! Ok. I've stepped on the scale and hopefully in a couple days (or a week?) I can say I'm actually to what my Sig says. *sigh & whine at the same time* Why do I keep doing this to myself? Ok---self pity is gone and now I need a drill sargeant on my butt to get me motivated and back on track. DH said he'll exercise with me so THAT'LL help. As I was eating a handful of candy hearts...he asked if I was going to exercise TWICE to make up for those. Chomped down the last one and said "maybe". lol. 2 more months to now lose MORE weight.....I need to get in shape ladies. HELP!!!!

ok, i know i have a problem with scales, but anyway, friday is my weigh in day. i lost 2.5 pounds. when i weighed in sun it was up two pounds, and so was this morning. THis freaks me out. I did start my period on sat. Could this be the reason for the 2 pound difference? my rings felt a little tight. any suggestions?

Never weigh yourself during your period. It can fluctuate 5 pounds or more. Talk about messing with your head.. ;)

As I was eating a handful of candy hearts...he asked if I was going to exercise TWICE to make up for those.
YUCK!! Candy hearts? Those chalky little nasty government experiments?? :p Gross... I couldn't even eat those if I wasn't dieting. Those wouldn't be on my list of 'worthy cheats'. LOL
Ok, enough poking, i'm here for ya. These - off course - days are becoming to frequent. Maybe we should do a daily FOOD accountability to go with the daily excersise one. Or is there already a thread like that?
What do you see as far has HELP goes. Should a few of us step up with private messages to try and keep you on track? I'm willing to help anyway I can, so what ever you feel is going to work best..

Afternoon :coffee:
Dontcha just love being a woman when your system is totally messed up? Another "tom" is on its way, just finished the last one a week ago :dizzy: either that, or I'll have the huge floatation devices for another month! As for weighing when its that time, I weigh in....if I am actively loosing, the scale will either stay the same, or move down. I find that if you are loosing, the water gain (for me) will stable things out for the week, and Ive still been known to loose that week......then a whole lot more the next when the water finally leaves :D Everyone is different...you will learn what your body does during that time, and compensate for it. You're doing good, so dont sweat the small stuff :)
Got an early b-day present this weekend. Dh bought me my first ipod!! Im not a techie person, and I didnt want the big fancy schmancy ipod, just the little shuffle thingy. (less to confuse me)! :lol3: Well, Ive been at it all weekend, and Im still not sure what Im doing  I have music on it (finally) but Im not exactly sure how I did it.....cuz I have to do it again  So I'll take it for its first test run at the gym this afternoon. So far so good, I love that its little and fits in my pocket! Isnt technology amazing!?!
Been busy around here lately.....still havent gotten to the cleaning part. But that is on the agenda today. I think the dust bunnies are mating! Time to put a stop to all their fun!
Im off to the gym, :tread: :lifter: have a great day ladies!

Katie: If you feel the need to WI during TOM....don't pay attention to the weight gain. After TOM the scale should go back down. Especially if you're the "type" to gain water during that time.
Falon: It was the only thing here to cheat on  Not sure how much help I need. Mainly I need DH to kick me in the tush to keep me on track. But having the support online is AWESOME as well! This way I know that people are "watching" me....thanks for the help :)
ilovemike:
Robin:WTG on getting the ipod!! And WTG on figuring it out! DD got an ilo (mp3 player also). I'm thinking I need one of those as well
I'm looking forward to DH getting home and exercising. I'm feeling kind of funky though. Youngest DD had the flu yesterday and I was exposed to it at the same time. I'm not hungry AT ALL (and truthfully, not sure it'd stay down if I DID eat). Water intake isn't going to happen either (again---not sure it'd stay down). I'm hoping to go to bed early tonight and wake up feeling "normal" tomorrow. No, I don't think this is carb withdrawal...I think it's a mix of the flu...and carb overload (blech--too many candy hearts). Maybe if I have to make supper...it'll just be chicken breasts or something bland like that. Off to go do a few dishes, clear up the floor in the living room and then veg out.

My husband is in the Navy and is currently stationed in Japan for the next 17 months. I am wanting to lose all my weight while he is gone and figure I have plenty of time to do so, but dont want to procrastinate any longer. I want to do atkins cause I have friends who have done it and lost a lot of weight. Well that is my little intro. -Sandra

Hi Sandra - welcome!
I'm getting back on track today -- I did a STS this week and I have been eating whatever I feel like.
Then I find that those McDonald's french fries that I cheated with last week poisoned me. McDonald's has been lying and claiming their french fries are gluten free. Now they've come out and said whoops - they really have wheat and dairy in them. Another good reason to avoid fast food forever. I've been poisoned!!! I'm so mad right now -- I'm so careful to avoid gluten. I believed them. ARRGGHHHH!!!!

Hey Sandra welcome
Well I am down another 3 lbs woohoo but it could be because I weighed myself in the morning as opposed to 4 in the afternoon.... but I will take what ever I can get....
I have found that since I can't eat the french fries I make them for my kids and then I lick the greese and salt off the plate....that I can have, it almost taste like the fries themselves....
As for the candy thing I like the sweet hearts too but I have actually been blessed few cravings most of which I have been able to control....not all though I did have 1 oatmeal cookie last night.....

Sandra - Welcome!!! Good luck on your weight loss adventure.. :D
Katie - I loved Super Size Me. It was such an eye opener! I highly recommend it to anyone I know whom is addicted to McDonalds!
Susan - Sorry to hear about the poisoning! I wonder how many people who are alergic to gluten are going to do something.. You know they knew this all along. All these big companies know wht they are doing as far as false advertising. Hope there weren't terrible side affects from that last cheat. :^:
Wendy - I read somewhere that you should never weigh in the afternoon, that you should do it in the morning after you first get up, and pee. I can't remember the exact reason.. I'll have to look that back up.

Here an article about law suites over the gluten fries for ya Susan. It was on our local 9 news.com:
CHICAGO (AP) - McDonald's is facing at least three lawsuits related to its disclosure last week that its french fries contain wheat and dairy products. Before this month, McDonald's had said its fries were free of milk or wheat allergens.
Debra Moffatt of Lombard, Ill., seeks unspecified damages in a suit filed Friday in Cook County Circuit Court that accuses the company of misleading the public. Her attorney, Thomas Pakenas, said his client has celiac disease that causes gastrointestinal symptoms when set off by eating gluten, a protein found in wheat.
"You cannot sell gluten-free french fries when they have gluten," Pakenas said. Moffatt's lawsuit seeks class-action status.
McDonald's said Feb. 13 that wheat and dairy ingredients are used to flavor its fries. Those substances can cause allergic or other medical reactions in food-sensitive consumers.
Earlier this month, McDonald's also acknowledged that its fries contain a third more trans fats than it previously knew, citing results of a new testing method it began using in December.
Jack Daly, McDonald's senior vice president, said in a statement the company has not reviewed the case yet and is testing its fries for gluten through a food allergy research program at the University of Nebraska.
On Friday, Mark and Theresa Chimiak of Jupiter, Fla., sued the fast-food chain, claiming their 5-year-old daughter has an intolerance to gluten. On Wednesday, Nadia Sugich of Los Angeles sued McDonald's, saying she is a vegan and would not have eaten the fries if she had known they contained dairy products.
Until recently, the company had said its fries were free of gluten and milk or wheat allergens and safe for people with dietary issues related to the consumption of dairy items. But this month, the fast-food company quietly added "Contains wheat and milk ingredients" to the french fries listing on its website.
The company said the move came in response to new rules by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for the packaged foods industry, including one requiring that the presence of common allergens such as milk, eggs, wheat, fish or peanuts be reported. As a restaurant operator, Oak Brook, Ill.-based McDonald's does not have to comply but is doing so voluntarily.

Sue: I'll send you a drive-by wave
Well, eating wise I did good yesterday (well, probably didn't eat enough or often enough. Just wasn't hungry). I didn't exercise--DH decided if my back/hips hurt I shouldn't exercise until it's better. Water intake stunk. 1 out of 3 instead of bombing all 3 isn't bad. Baby steps for me :)

Morning Ladies - :coffee:
Looks like it's going to be one of those busy days. I had the unfortunate event of climbing into bed only to find that a cat peed on my quilts!! That wasn't fun.. they've never been known to do that, but I suspect someone got locked in there at some point in the day. *sigh*
That was gross! So my morning will consist of washing everything and then head out to the rec center so the kids can swim and i'll head upstairs to the gym in hopes of some excersise. :lifter: That's the plan anyhow. *crossing fingers* Then run my 10 other arrands, and call it a day.
Sherry: ONE DAY AT A TIME FRIEND! That's all you can do... Don't beat yourself up, but if you know that it could cause a chain reaction, work on your level of strictness. I know for me, it would be over if I faultered.. So I have to be a lot harder on myself. :^: You can do it! Your success thus far, says you can!!!
Talk to everyone later... Better get those quilts in the wash! *shudder*

Well yesterday I didnt have anything that I wasnt supposed to BUT I did eat more than I should have. I think I was eating out of sheer bordem. Kinda disappointed myself, but I am doing better today. I trying to get use to this new work schedule and I am going to try and make it to the gym in the mornings cause I am too tired to go in the evenings right now.
Ok weigh at the same time everyday and in the mornings is usually better.:carrot:
How is everyone else doing today so far?
I worked at McDonalds all through high school and I really just cant stand their food anymore, but honestly doing this diet, I dont crave those foods, and if I find myself wanting to go out for fast food, it is more out of habit than actually wanting the food.

Like they say, habits are made to be broken! :) They say after 30 days (i think it's 30) of changing a bad habit into something good, or what ever the case may be, you will change it for life. I think that also goes along with food. It's changing the old habits into the new ones. :dizzy: Did that make sense? Guess I better head over to the rec center now. LOL

Katie, gluten is a protein found in wheat, oats, barley and rye. For those of us who have Celiac disease consuming anything with those products in it damages the cillia in the small intestine. Those cillia are what cause you to absorb the nutrients in the food you eat as well as from the vitamins and supplements you take.
If you have Celiac and consume anything with gluten, you can get a whole host of nasty symptoms. Mine was severe anemia and severe fatigue. It's especially bad in children because many get major malnutrition and people have died.
Falon, I'm missing carpet on my stair landing going down to the basement because of my kitty peeing on it. We later found out she had a urinary tract infection which damaged her kidneys. By the time we caught it, we were too late for her. She was almost 12 years old though.
I'm drinking the water today. I went back to the gym after 11 days off with this nasty cold that won't go away and I could only get 30 minutes on the treadmill at a 2.4 mph pace. I thought I was going to just die. Normally I get 60 minutes at 2.8. I want this to be gone!!!!

Lacey~ I just cant do the all egg thing ....Ive attempted it, but there is just no way  have that gag reflex kicking in when Im on my 4th or 5th egg. Good Luck to you tho.......you can do it! Ive thought about this many times......but you know what??? Im turning 41 flippin yrs old in 2 weeks, and Im NOT going to be fat and unhealthy for the 2nd half of my life. So Im not going to give up. Its hard, oooooooh I know how hard it is, and we all get so tired of thinking about it all the time. Those who say it will come naturally eventually, and it will be easy....well in a nutshell, they are full of crap!! Ive been eating this way for 6 yrs....and I still have to think about it.
BUT... I have decided that I can still (and do) loose weight when I eat lower carb, but dont sweat the small stuff. Dh and I had a very long talk about this...and as long as you are working at it, the weight will come off.

Well yesterday I finally got back on plan. Sunday and Monday I was mostly on plan, but yesterday I was fully back. Of course, the scale is reflecting the earlier days and I'm trying to ignore it and not feel too discouraged. Cheating days really do mess with your head because of the additional water you retain due to carbing up. Scale was up way more pounds than even I would have expected just from a little extra carbs/lots of extra water.
But with patience and persistance I suspect it will all go back away soon.
I don't know what I'm going to make for dinner tonight. Fridge is pretty empty. Guess I need to plan/shop etc. I really need some new ideas for good low carb meals. I am getting bored with the same old things. I made a nice omelet for dinner last night. 5 eggs, cheese, mushrooms, ham, bacon, tomatoes and avocado in it. With sausage on the side... Lots of fat in that meal.
It was good and filling and satisfying though. (shared with 4 people, not for one person alone! had to make that clear).
Anyway I am recommitting to my goals. I feel a little farther off than I want to be because the scale has gone up. Maybe I should just set a couple of intermediary goals... My next one was supposed to be 245... but that was pretty far from today's first weigh in.
How much water do you guys drink? Do you consume huge amounts? Does it help with weight loss or do you find that you just have more water to weigh all the time?
RobinW
02-22-2006, 03:10 PM
Sherry, I drink 64oz a day....then I have tea's & coffee ontop of that. Its plenty for me. I have a huge jug I bought at walmart, fill it up in the morning, and my goal is for it to be gone by supper time. That way I not up multiple times at night. I find drinking the water makes a huge difference.
hockeyfan7
02-22-2006, 04:50 PM
Sherry, I try to drink 80 oz a day. I hate water though, so it's a struggle. I tried doing 128 oz for a week and gained 8 lbs automatically. It took me another 2 weeks for it to go away.
Dinner ideas?
I toss shrimp in olive oil and garlic and grill. I also grill zucchini or asparagus with it. Coat them with olive oil and Italian seasoning. Or you can also steam your shrimp and dip them in butter and garlic salt.
We buy Jim Beam BBQ sauce. It only has 5 grams of carbs per serving and is low in sugar. It's great for marinating steak or chicken to grill. I love a nice medium rare grilled steak.
Lettuce leaves with mayo, 4 strips of bacon and sliced tomato - make your own BLT.
Coat a chicken breast in a tablespoon of Italian salad dressing (1.5 grams of carbs) and let that marinate all day. Bake or grill with sliced red/green pepper and tomato pieces.
Also you might check out the recipes at the Atkins web site. I've made several of them and they are pretty good -- especially the stuffed mushrooms.

Yeah, hey Brenda! Please come out and post! We don't care if you are struggling. We are all here to uplift and support each other - kinda like a huge LC bra, right? Support is what 3fatchicks is all about and we won't turn anyone away or tell them they should go somewhere else or do something else. Carb addiction is what we ALL have in common here or we wouldn't have chosen this WOE. But addiction is a you-know-what to overcome and just like the 12 step programs say: One Day at a Time.
Ok - I gotta run to the store since baseball practice ran late. Wish me luck in making good food choices, k?

Two days of being back on track. I guess ketosis is back. Feels like I'm losing most of the retained water anyway. One thing I've noticed lately that worries me a bit is that I keep getting big old bruises on my legs. I don't remember bumping myself, but I'll look at my legs and there is always a fresh bruise on them.
It is a little worriesome. I guess I need to start taking my vitamins or eat more veggys or something.
The other thing I've noticed is that I can't seem to sleep through the night any more. I wake up to go to the bathroom and then can't get back to sleep. I suppose it is because I'm not eating enough, or something. But I don't like it much.

Mornin' :coffee:
Slept horrible last night, and not to sure why... I had a cat that kept wanting in my room, and woke me up in the first place, then I have a hard time shutting my brain off! Chat, chat, chat!
Anyhow, I have a NEW goal to reach! So I need the extra bit of support!
We were already planning on going to my husbands family reunion in Chicago which occurs every 3 years. So I told him I want to surprise his siblings and mother with not being big (like all of them) any more. He snickered and thought that was a good one! But there is a new goal being added to this!
All this takes place at the end of July.
We are going to add a trip to the East Coast (the place I wish I could get him to move too!) and take the kids to Philadelphia, Boston, D.C., etc. The Smithsonian is my personal reward for the weight loss. So, I want to be in extra shape to be able to hit all of the historical sites! We have never been to the east coast, so this is a big thing for me..
What we are doing is fly to Chicago (the day before the reunion -leave the day after) take the train to Phily, then to D.C. and after a week, fly back home. My husband is a big guy, who hates to fly, so getting smaller is a big thing!!!
I have 5 months to do this! Any tips, hints, etc?
I plan on commiting to going to the gym, and really getting strict with myself.
HELP!! Ok, been babbling, but I am very excited since we have always talked about this trip, and now we'll be doing it!!!
The gym is on the list, and water the rest of the day. Yeah I discovered Coke zero as well, and have had a few to many of 'em. They are good though!!! :) Ok, giddy school girl has things to do..
BRENDA---- Come back!! I need you!!!!

If you are committed and faithful every day, the weight should come off. My husband's family lives in Potomac, MD so we went this past 4th of July. I always wanted to go to A Capitol Fourth. We sat on the lawn and watched the Beach Boys and the fireworks. The guys got the brilliant idea to walk from Georgetown all the way to the Lincoln Memorial and then all the way down the Mall to the Washington Memorial - in the rain. This was before my 2nd knee surgery and by the time we got back to the subway, I was in soooo much pain. You will be better prepared for all the walking if you do get smaller first. I have to admit, I had problems keeping up with the 2 guys and I got tired. The new WWII memorial is fantastic. And the Korean War memorial is spooky in the rain at dusk.
Kel - did you make the right food choices?
Lacey - bring that treadmill in. You will be surprised at how fast the time goes if you are watching TV. Plus panting over that one cute guy (Ace?) will burn more calories. :D

Happy Friday!
Staying on plan, but really nervous about this weekend. My days for screwing up are Saturdays and Sundays. Going to try really hard to stay busy all weekend so I don't graze and ruin the success I've had so far this week.

Good Morning :coffee:
Im here Lace.....just sleepin' in a bit :o
Morgaine~ have some emergency foods around, like already boiled eggs, and tuna already mixed up the way you like it. Personally, I dont think its all that bad to take a day off, as long as I dont over do it and get right back to it the next day. Especially if you are working out daily :)
Dh took me out for supper last night. We didnt want anything heavy so I had the half santa fe salad, and dh had the sirlion ceasar salad. It was nice......and no dishes to do
We found out yesterday that our next door neighbour is in the hospital. We knew something was up when her car didnt move all weekend. But we dont worry too much about her because her brother lives across the street, and the other brother is about 5 houses down. But anyway, she was scheduled for a quad bypass this morning at 730! She had no idea her cholestoral was so bad for so long, and that the pains she was having was her heart. She said it felt just like indegestion....she would burp and the pain would go away. But when she woke with it, she knew it was time to get it checked.
She has been doing ww for over a year, and has lost over 115lbs!! The dr told her that if she hadnt lost the weight, she most likely would have had a serious heart attack instead, and damage would have been done to her heart. But he also told her that it was inevitable. So just a word to the nay-sayers some diets, its not the diet that takes the weight off, its the way of eating the many many years of eating what ever they wanted causes heart disease. Because she lost the weight, and had her symptoms checked out, the dr told her, her heart is very very healthly, just plugged up plumbing.
Ladies.......pay attention to your body, and what it is telling you :)
Dh and are off to the botanical gardens today, see whats happening over there, then I think a trip to a garden center. We need something for when our neighbour comes home, and a friend has bought their very first house around the corner from us...so something housewarmingish for them too.
Thats the plan for today, .........oh, and a workout too!!
Have a great day ladies, and take care of yourselves.

Mornin' all...
Welcome Marie! Why did you ever leave??
Susan, thanks! Yeah... the plan is take it off so I can feel good with all that walking we will be doing. I also want to wear shorts this summer!!!
I did excersise yesterday, and walked 2.5 miles on the track. It really felt good. Think i'll go today and try for 3.5 . I wasn't as good on my water intake with the exception of drinking it at the gym. I will try for better today. I really am motivated, and hope to stay this way for 5 more months. LOL
KEEP ME ON TRACK LADIES!!!! :D
Hope everyone else has a great day. Keep up the good work, drink the water, and work out! :)
Brenda - i'm still waiting for your postssssss......:?:

Morgaine, graze all day if you feel like it. Just make sure that your grazing is protein and your allowed veggies. I eat something every couple of hours. I've been known to snack on a steak or a hamburger pattie with cheese or some beef strips or chicken strips or shrimp.
I'm going back to the gym in 10 minutes. I have my clothes and I think my cold is gone enough to let me work out. I miss it and I've gained 3/4 lb.

Happy Saturday :woo:
Well, after my workout yesterday and talking to some very helpful ladies in the LWL threads, I am going to up my carbs a bit. Slowly, and smartly. By the time I was done my workout yesterday I was bone tired, and had a really hard time lifting the weights I had lifted on monday. So this seems to be the answer. The trick will be to so this without alot of fat, because I cant add carbs, and have my fat intake where it is, and still loose weight. Really, tho in studying my fitday, it will just be a matter of switching my cream in my coffee to 2% and ease up on the salad dressings. So I should be ok.
Dh and I watched "Cave" last night....pretty good thriller. A little bit different from your run of the mill monster eats person movie
Not sure what we are up to today........so have a great saturday ladies!

:) Happy Saturday!
Going to go to the zoo with the family today.
Still going strong with induction. My dh told me yesterday he could tell I'm losing weight. It was really nice to hear that from him. He doesn't say things unless he really means them. I was very surprised to hear that from him yesterday.
I've lost alot in my face and I can see my stomach area shrinking. It amazes me. But a long haul ahead till goal weight.

hockeyfan: did you have a nice workout??
My dad brought my treadmill in the house and I'm super thrilled, I have NO excuse not to walk when it's cold outside now!!!
and I'm afraid to vex this by talking about it but I'm 3 pounds away from weighing what I did in high school. Still have 25 lbs. to go after that to reach goal, but I just honestly can't believe that I'm here right now. It's like I'm slipping into this body and this person that I don't know and it's all very surreal. I keep trying on clothes, and I make a million different trips down the aisle to get a smaller size and it freaks me out, I keep thinking 'No, these just run big, I don't really wear a 12", but then I try different brands and need a 12 in them too. I just can't believe it still, and in 25 lbs. it'll be a smaller size and that just really hypes me up. :carrot: :carrot: Anyway, I know a size 12 is huge to lots of people but I haven't been this size since I was 18.

Lacy I have never been a size 12 since before high school I entered high school at a 14 or there some place but no lower. I did squeeze my but in a 12 for about 1 month the last time I did so welland then life took over so Honey I can feel the joy riding through the computer and enjoy it!!! and at that size down 25 will probably get you down 2 sizes!!

Long day yesterday, and still again today. I did OK diet wise except I am definatly not eating enough at all!!!5 chicken selects (no sauce) and a protien shake is certainly not enough. I did manage to keep under 30 carbs though.
Yesterday I cought the bunnies mating and creating a whole family under the table and I threw water at them. I think I will be OK for a while. until they regroup again.

LOL naseus, you crack me up. Seeing as how it's still early for me I had to think about that for a second. I actually had real rabbits pictured under a table for a minute :)
Gonna get us around and head to church this morning, it looks like it's gonna be a marvelous day so maybe I can get a walk in too :)

Good Morning :sunny:
I had to think about that too, I thought, well, if you thru water at them, you'd have a blob of bunny mess stuck to the floor  (I read it right after I woke up) cute!
Lacey~ have a nice morning :)
We had a bit of excitment around here last night (in the neighbourhood) at about 4am, one of our neighbours was chasing a car down the street in his boxers, tshirt, and BAREFOOT! on the snowy road....hollering for the car to stop because it hit one of the ones parked!! Personaly I think he's nuts!! I would have just taken the plate number and called the police, but hey nobody said the guy was all there sometimes  I certainly wouldnt stop at 4 am if a guy was chasing me down the street
This stuff usually only happens in the summer time
Not alot planned for today, should be a nice day tho....have a great day ladies.

Morning all! Well that damn TOM came to visit, and frankly, I wasn't prepared for it, but so is life. I'm also down another 2 pounds, happily. I was taking in to many carbs, so I have been eating mostly protien with one small serving of salad (1 a day). I have just ben having such a resistance!
Yesterday was long so I didn't make it to the gym. I went and had Indian food with some friends, and did very well. I gave them the rice and bread that came with the meal. After I finish my breakfast, i'm off to the gym to walk and then get groceries.
Robin- the last time (ok, the only time) I had a guy running after my car in his boxers was after me and 4 girlfriends rolled his house! We stupidly did a drive by to see our handy work when the sun started to rise. Man it wasa beautiful! And as we started to drive by, we realized he was standing in the street looking at his house.. yeah, he chased up a good distance. We didn't just t.p. the place, but also took tampons, fresh out of the box, and tied them by the string in his trees. 5 boxes of 40, so you can imagine how many there were. We dumped bags of cherrio type cereal all over the yard, so when the sprinkler system came on, they would swell! Oh it was good.. We did other stuff, but I thought those parts were our most genious. The guy was a total jerk, and deserved it. As an adult now, I feel sorry for his parents.. but heh. Good times... Good times.. LOL
Everyone have a good day!!!

Morning all!
Lacey - I'm doing a happy dance for you -- that's so fantastic!
I'm still sick -- yesterday the fever started and I spent most of the day in bed. This is week 3, so I think I'm going to have to call the doctor tomorrow.
I did manage to get 60 minutes on the treadmill Friday night though.

Falon the only time I "Rolled" a house was when me and my sister wanted to but had were to scared to roll anybody else's so we did our own. we used all kinds of colored paper and had a great time. but my parents came home and cleaned it up before we could get out side and take a picture. what geeks we were. Gosh I love the idea of the tampons. I agree now I think of it we were so stupid but we had a great time doing it. in high school our sleep over party we rolled the school.(tradition)

Wow! Congrats! I still weighed myself despite TOM and to actually down 2 was great, but is still keeping me leary from weighing the rest of the week. I'll still go walk the track though, and hopefully when TOM has packed up and left, i'll find a nice surprise on the scale.
Enjoy your girl day!! Sounds like fun.

LOL - yeah.. I always wanted to roll my own house as a kid, but my father not only would have busted my butt for it, but I would have had to clean it up. I never thought that was worth it.. :)
I wish we could have got pictures.. the tampons were awesome. Oh, and we took oreo cookies, pulled them apart, and covered their mailbox in the halves - from top to bottom & the windows of his truck. It was well thought out... at least until we got the dumb idea of driving by. ;)

I can just picture it now all those lovely oreos. I hope you used the regular and not the double stuffed  but you had to drive by how else could you have seen it??? they do not do that here in NY (I am glad) too much rain can you just picture it???
Had a cold spell here. it is merely 10 out side colder than a witches ### pardon the expression and being so tired I am falling asleep every time I sit. I do not thing it all has to do with the low cal intake I have been doing. :dizzy: and slowing my metabolism. So I just made some more coffee and had a nice big bowl of chilli MMMMMM and am hoping I can go to bed soon and get warm.(only 7P now)

gained back 2 lbs. today but not sure why. I haven't cheated or anything. Last night I was digging through my purse during church and an old man sitting next to me handed me a huge life saver mint and I ate it because I didn't want him to feel bad. How shallow is that of me? I highly doubt that a single life saver caused a 2 lb. gain but ya never know.
Have a great week everyone!!!
