Suz, I don't know exactly the calorie amount, but it will be high. Pad Thai and Pad Thai Puk are in a peanut sauce with peanut oil. I don't think that they skimp on the fat amount, either.

I found this site. It tells you calories but not the actual portion size. I know Thai not only uses peanut but also coconut which is majorly high in calories.

Here is the site:

Well, it depends, are you cooking it at home or are you going out to eat?

I love to make pad thai at home. Here's Oprah's recipe:
http://www.oprah.com/foodhome/food/r..._padthai.jhtml

Nutritional information (using baked tofu and without eggs): 599 calories, 23 grams fat, 3 grams saturated fat, 1688 mg sodium, 64 grams carbohydrate, 33 grams protein

Nutritional information (healthier version without eggs): 463 calories, 12 grams fat, 2 grams saturated fat, 991 mg sodium, 58 grams carbohydrate, 31 grams protein

I don't know if this will be helpful or not. I just bought some convenience thai food made by Thai Kitchen. Its microwavable or you can cook it on the stove. Anyways for 1 serving of pad thai: 53g of cooked rice noodles, 8g of seasoning, and 3g of oil it is 235 calories. I just realized it is a gluten free and vegan product so some of the ingredients may differ.

Ooh, thanks for the recipe link, Jessica! I've been in a Thai food kick and just happen to have thinks like fish sauce and peanut oil on hand, because of that. They've been looking for uses.
