Good Morning Ladies,
I hope you are all well and your diets are going as planned. I myself purposely went Off plan this weekend in attempt to shake things up! It seems as if I have hit a plateau! So my weight is up due to TOM and the shake up so lets see if I get things moving next week! I havent exercised for two days and man the guilt is killing me LOL! Today for sure as soon as the house cleaning is done the tape is going in!!! So stats for this week are a little scary:fr: but next week watch out!!! Good luck to all of you next week and just out of curiosity whos in the lead?? I know its not me LOL! HUGGGGSSS.

Hey FGNM, well I didn't gain but I didn't lose either, I had a crazy weekend with going to Larry the Cable Guy concert and then a birthday bowling party later that night. I did stay within my points on WW and didn't go over which I am glad but I would have loved to see my weight go down. I haven't been exercising and trying to focus on my main issue FOOD, but after this week I think I am gonna set a goal of 5 miles a week and 2 - 30 min of Taebo. I need to see the scale go down not stay the same. But I can say that I have noticed my pants getting loose around the waist and I like that. Well hope everyone else has a great week and better result, keep up the good work !!!

Well, I am back up the pound I lost last week but I have no idea why it is back. I did have some salty peanuts as a snack so maybe it is water weight. I have only been using my new Total Gym (Christmas gift) since last Monday so I suppose it could also be muscle. I am hoping for the best since I was a very very good girl over the weekend and my only cheat was one beer. :D

P.S. Did anyone get the newest issue of Shape Magazine? There are some FAB recipes using rice! A new study released that people who ate a serving of rice a day tended to lose more weight than folks who don't...Hmmm.

Well, my weight tracker is still wrong, as I have not had time to change it. However, I weighed in this morning and I have lost 4 lbs! That's half of my goal of 8 lbs. I'm hoping for at least 3 this week. We'll see. This feels good! Yeah! Let's go girls!:carrot:

So far, so good. I've been staying pretty much on program, and am within 7-8 pounds of my Val's Day goal.

well.. just weighed myself.. and came up with.. 155.. so that is another pound gone.

I am happy, but I wish it would come off faster

Way to go ladies Lainey2 and Jas80 , judydc what kinda on plan are you on, and what are your exercise goal, you both are doing great. Aimin4thin, hang in there it's muscle that total gym will do that fast I hear. FGNM & Yvette the newbies are killing us we need to step it up, soooooooo glad everyone is doing good, and keep up the GREAT work.

Thank you soooo much Stayc. I shouldn't freak out about such things. I mean, one pound and on an old-fashioned scale to boot. I really need a digital scale. Hopefully tomorrow will be my day!

Everybody is doing so well! Props to you all- has everyone sought out the slinky red dress they get to buy themselves for making goal yet??? :)

stayc... i'm doing weight watchers online and not eating so much junk. the 210 start weight came from mid december and i had already lost 4 lbs before i joined here. but since the holidays were such a bear for me (why i started this just before christmas is beyond me!) i couldn't stand not to have that loss on here. my true start weight upon joining this site was 204. i wish i could say i've lost 13 lbs in 2 weeks!
as for exercise, i'm doing turbo jam for cardio m w th, and tae bo bootcamp for strength tu and fr.

i'm truly convinced that if i hadn't found this site, i would have fallen off the wagon by now.

Stayc--I'm doing variations on South Beach and working out almost every day. I dont like getting up earlier than normal, but I know what works for me, and what works for me is sweating and lifting weights! When I do that, I lose the urge for junk food.

I am down 2 lbs this week, for a total of 2.8 out of 9! 6.2 left!

Well this week I had to slow down the loss! I think it was going to fast which sounds nice but i want it to stay off this time! Im down to 145.5. Im getting closer to my goal every day! Thats 7.5lbs down for me for the Valentines day challenge. I dont know if that puts me close to the top or not but im still working. I hope everyone has a great week!

I usually post my weigh in on friday, but decided to get back on the scale today and guess what? :o I finally made it into the 230's. Well to be exact I'm 239.5:carrot: :D :D :D . It's been along time for me and the 230's. This puts me down 5lbs with 7.5 more to go for my challenge. Congrats to all the losers. Have a good week.:carrot: :carrot:

Hey everybody....I am so proud of all of you!!! And to those who didn't lose or stayed the same I am sure that this is going to be your week. I updated my weight tracker because I have lost 2 pounds which I am pretty happy about. And FGNM don't worry, today will be the day that you start losing!!!

I just got onto the scale this morning and I have lost 6 1/2 pounds this week!! :carrot: I just feel great because of eating better and exercising almost every day. I think I have got it this time on lossing the weight. I know I will stick to it this time. Well need to help the kids hope everyone has a great day!!

Well gals, I don't know what is up with my bod lately. My scale refuses to budge even a microfraction of an inch, but today I put on a pair of pants that just happens to have the nastiest reputation for being tight and huggy in all the wrong spots and they look AMAZING! :shrug: No pull across the waistband no, bunching up around my :::ahem::: backside and well, I feel good in them!! :dancer: My face looks thinner too. I am still hoping to attribute the no-weight-loss thing to muscle from my new total gym workouts as I have been hitting it kind of hard, but I also need to make my v-day goal of 8 pounds!!!

Great Job Kate7583, and Kadamay keep up the great work. Thanks Jas80 and judydc, I love to hear what people do to lose their weight. Me I am doing WW online I just started it online I did it by myself with the 123 porgram I had from along time ago. I am just at my breaking point I haven't lost any weight for 2 weeks with the online program but I do eat my points plus all my flex and I haven't really been exercising, which is gonna change this week cause I have to see results. I did WW about 7 years ago and lost 35 pounds so I know it works I just don't understand why it's not working now. Well Have a great day and keep up the good work.

Ok, Ok- so I KNOW that we aren't supposed to live and die by the scale and its evil :devil: fluctuations, but if you have read my previous posts, mine has been stuck at my starting weight all week. :( Finally this morning I awoke to some good news. :carrot: I am down from 165 to 161!!! Hooray!!! :hat: Apparently laying a hardwood floor is a good workout, who knew? :idea:

Not a worry in the world FGNM. Not many people work as hard for what they want as you do. You will be there before you know it and if that mean ol scale isn't budging, it's probably just because of all of that lean sexy bad-girl muscle you have been building up that is going to send your metabolism through the roof!!! I will be pulling for you on my end and I can't wait to see your post when you tell us about the five pounds or more that vanished overnight!!! Stay strong and keep it going!

Well I have been lurking through this website forever and I started counting my calories on Jan. 1st and to keep myself motivated I have set up a Valentine Challenge for myself. I wanted to lose 10 lbs. by then. So far I have lost 7. Do you guys think I should make a Valentine Challenge II for additional weight after I lose the 10 and adjust my birthday goal (march 16th)or should I just keep losing and try to hit my Birthday goal. I think that I can lose alot more than the 10 lbs. I intially thought for v-day.

Congratulations, Mojo! Seven lbs gone is wonderful:carrot: Maybe you can add another layer to your 2/14 goal, like a certain amount of exercise or some other habit that will help you reach your birthday goal. Usually you lose those first pounds in a gratifying rush, then the scale slows way down as your metabolism adjusts to a new regime.

Hopefully my weight loss doesn't go down too quickly. I have been losing about 2lbs. a week. But you are right.. I am going to start going to the gym hopefully on Monday and so I will add a exercise goal. =)

Hey gals- this is listed elsewhere on another forum so I can't take credit for the find at all, but have you checked out It is a cool on-line diet and exercise tracking program and it is totally free. You just punch in your info and it will make reports for you about the calories you consume, your nutrition levels, exercise vs. calorie intake, etc.. It even does graphs. Great way to visualize your progress and hold yourself accountable for your diet and exercise actions.

Hello ladies and congratulation to the ones who have loss. I on the other hand weight is the same . I still weigh 203 pounds hey StayC like you said we need to step it up. I went through a difficult week and I am so glad that it is over. I have not exercised yet and I know I need to get serious about that. My eating has been okay but I really need to exercise, that is how the weight really comes off for me. Come on ladies lets kick some butt and we can do this just think about the summer and how much better we will all look. Have a great weekend.
