Default Is jarred spaghetti sauce a vegetable?

I ate 1/3 cup chole wheat pasta with a tiny bit of "Ragu Carb Control" spaghetti sauce. I didn't want to do a carb craver, but what would the sauce be? I asked my counselor, of course they didn't know.

I would count it as a condiment.

I think that the sodium in regaular sauce, reagardless of the low fat, low sugar is too much for the plan on the regular. i think I read in the book somewhere about lowsodium sauce, but have never been able to find that in the stores.

i make my own sauce for my pasta with roma tomatoes, and spices that works really well and then i can really count what I eat, but since your asking about what you have already ate, I would say count it as 2 of your condiments and try to stay very low on the soium for the day, maybe get some extra water in.

Default Sal And Judy's Diet Spaghetti Sauce

Hey,

My counselor (who is VERY good -- I guess I'm fortunate) said that the Sal and Judy's sauce had the same sodium as a smaller serving of some kind of salsa, so she allowed a client to use it as a condiment.
