I don't know about anyone else that has a lot of weight to lose, but you know - most days I don't have a problem with how long the journey is. Then there are days like today. It seems as if it is a million miles away. I am a huge movie buff, and whenever I think about something taking a long time, I think about an old movie from the 60's called The Agony and the Ecstasy (1965)

It tells the story of Michelangelo painting the Sistine Chapel. There is this one scene that happens over and over....

Michelangelo: When I am finished!

I know that I am making progress toward my goal everyday - but Oh Lord, when will I make an end?

Don't I know THAT feeling. lol.

You're weight loss so far is staggering and down right unbelieveable so when you have a "bad" day, just pull out the old pictures, look how far you've come, think of how much better you feel and remember every day you get closer to your ultimate goal!

You can do it Charles!! I totally understand how you are feeling. Today is one of those days to me - I feel nearly hopeless and am having a hard time. But I just have to deal with it and move on. I don't want to - I want to stay in bed under the covers but I can't.

So keep on truckin' and we'll do it with you!

Thanks everyone. Sometimes it just seems so long - but I did pull out my picture log - I took 3 shots front, back and side every 25 pounds. Yea, that helps to see where I came from... but boy can I get impatient sometimes LOL
