Hope nobody minds if I start this (I didn't see one for the week).

I'm way up after the holidays. 286, 3 lbs more than my start weight. But I'm putting on a smile and getting back to it. After all, this is a new year!

Shannon I'm right there with you. I'm actually up about 20 pounds from my last reporting at 287.5. It's my official starting weight.

I am down 5 pounds. Without dieting or exercise? I'll take it! I've been sick for a while, so I've had to change my eating habits. Now to keep this up!

Kudos to the people who were able to lose over the holidays!!

Like others, I'm starting anew, so I'm posting my 2006 starting weight of 191. Here's to a successful 2006!

I'm back to my pre-christmas/lowest ever weight of 172 so I'm very happy today :D My immediate aim is 168 which is the point where my BMI dips below 25, but the 100lb mark is well within my sights now, with not much planned in the next few months to distract me from it.

ugh - i've still only lost a total of two pounds this week. my weigh in days are wednesday, and i thought this morning i would at least see a couple more pounds. but it was not to be, which sucks. oh well - this week i'll try to up my exercise a bit more and see where that gets me. is it crazy to want to lose 40 pounds by Valentine's? I'd love to be 275 for that.

Anywho, great job ladies!

I decided to change my weigh-in days to wednesday and I'm down 6 pounds from Monday :eek: Kind of shocked me but I know it's all this water I've been drinking.

Suzi--about 1/2 gallon a day give or take. But I've been off drinking that much water for over a month that it's really helped. I've also stopped salting my food. (this one is the biggy for me.)

I think the scales are playing tricks on me. :chin: I weighed again after I posted my 5 pound gain, only to find I was a couple of pounds less. And then today I came in at 192 so I'm not sure what to think. My clothes do feel a little looser though, so I'm off to do some measuring. :)

This is my first weigh in since delivering my baby. I'm at 280. I was at 286 when I found out I was pg.

My plan for now is to start walking again (treadmill) and purge my house of the holiday sweets. I'll add in strength training in a month and possibly start WW again (depending on my weight loss with nursing and exercise.)

I normally weigh on Mondays but I just got back from vacation. In the last 2 weeks I've gained 4 pounds, but I did update my ticker to show the gain. I'm hoping to shed them in no time at all. It could have been better, but it certainly could have been worse. Great job everyone!

Good loses everyone. And for those who gained I'm there with you. I don't know how much because I don't have my own scale but I know I'm up a couple. I have not asked if they have a scale here where we are staying so I'm not sure if we will be able to join in. I will have to ask tonight when they get home. We will use this week as a starting point if they do have a scale. I'm sure it will not be the same weight as our scales at home so we will just get a starting point and then report the losses from there.

Well, this is my first weigh in in quite a while!!!!

On Jan 1st, I was 197.4
Today I'm 195.2

So I'm down 2.2 pounds in five days....not too bad, eh?

I'm refusing to adjust my ticker until it's in the downward direction...so 5.2 :o more holiday pounds and then I'll be a happy camper!!

I hope it will go quickly,
I'm back to Thursday as my weigh in day...so hopefully will have a really good loss by then!

I knew i was going to gain as I haven't eatten properly or exercised since Christmas ever.....I was plesently surprise to see that I had only gain 3lbs alot better than the 10 I was sure I was going to.

I'm back on plan.....and feeling great.

I have a net loss of 2 lbs from my weigh-in last week. My weight got as high as 329.5 on Monday, so I've dropped 5.5 since then. But we can't count the same pounds over and over can we?

My weigh-in day is Saturday, so it looks like I'll be bringing up the rear on this thread. ;) I'm down 1 pound this week to 168. Not much, but it brings me to a total of 45 and a new chick for my avatar. I'll take it.

I feel absolutely great. This is the first time I have lost at something and I don't feel bad!!! Just want to encourage you all that you can do it. It didn't take a day to put the weight on, so we know it won't come off in a day. Just stick with whatever program/routine you are doing. Its all about getting healthy.
