Default Jumpstart January Exercise

OK, so yesterday was a bit of a write-off for exercise, other than a shortish walk to get the paper (about a mile?) and a bit of dancing round to the radio while cooking. No excuse really, I was up early, I wasn't hungover, the gym was open for some of the day, I just couldn't be bothered.

Then today I woke up with more of an excuse, my stomachs a bit sore and I think TOM is imminent, but I wasn't going to allow myself laziness again, so I went down to the park and ran. I ran for about 47 minutes then walked back, I think I probably ran a bit over 7.5k and covered probably 9 or 10 in total including the cooldown walk.

I feel much better now for doing something, even though my stomach still hurts

Off for week 5 of couch to 5K - running along south bank. Should be fun! I'm going to count how many tourists I knock into the Thames

I've got a stupid headache again which sucks stupid time of the month so I sympathise. I find exercise when I'm on makes me feel really ill does anyone else have that problem.

I have dragged myself out of my nice warm house for a good walk, it was really nice! Apart from it being damp and 'orrible, but hey ho!

I find exercise actually helps at that time of the month, I still do my normal exercise routines when I'm on.

40 mins on the cross trainer followed by some tae bo style kicks (just because!) and stretches!

Have a nice warm glow of smugness at my first 2006 workout.

And have bought new trainers and a pedometer on the internet ready for my moonwalk training

At lunch I did 6 minutes on bike, cross trainer, stepper, treadmill and rower.

After work I went and did my lifting routine at the gym, which includes 20 minutes on the treadmill, a bit of rower and cross trainer, and lots of lifting! I really enjoyed it!!!!
