Default Happy New Years Eve

Hi
HAPPY NEW YEARS EVE!! Where did 2005 go. Just seems like yesterday we were celebrating New Years.
I also have a question. I am going to make some veggie soup tomorrow. Going to use Core Veggies. And I was wondering if Barley is core. And if I can put it in the soup. Someone said I could put it in the soup. But it wasnt core. So wasnt sure. Well I guess I could go dig out the books. I am going to get the books back out. And put them at my place sitting at the table and then I will be able to look at them all the time. But put them away for Christmas.
Todays eating 2 slices diet bread (1pt) oatmeal. But made 2 servings. And ate both. salad, some olives, baked chicken breast, a sweet potato with sugar free log cabin syrup. 2 triscuts. So I am thinking I did a pretty good day of core. But not too sure. Any input would be apprecitated.
I do know I shouldnt have ate both servings of oatmeal. But the one just doesnt stay with me. In just a little bit I fill like I am hungry again. Today by eating both and the toast it stayed with me.
Oh my I didnt mean to write a book. Sorry. Just got carried away.
I hope everyone has a great and wonderful new years. I wish peace, love, and health to each one of you.
Coco

Barley is core!
And about the oatmeal, I know that some of us do that regularly. It's better to do that than to splurge on "bad" foods later.

Coco, Happy New Year to you too. Maybe you need to eat more protein, especially at breakfast because it helps fill you up. Remember eat until satisfied. Some of us need more than others. I eat more than folks who weigh 150 and can still burn it off.
