Default New here but not to dieting

Hi, everyone. My name is Katrina. I am 30 (almost 31) and just recently diagnosed with PCOS and Hypothyroidism. I am currently taking 1500 mg of Metformin and 2 grains of Armour. I have done Weight Watchers, South Beach and Atkins in the past but because of my thyroid, I could never get the weight off and keep it off. I got down to 165 over the summer but jumped right back up a few months later.

I've heard that a low carb approach is best for me based on the PCOS/IR but I have such a terrible time staying on South Beach when it comes to dinner and my husband.

Does anyone have any input on which way to start over? Should I do WW or SB? I am so confused and afraid of wasting more time.
