Hi. I've been tring to find sites that offer Meridia online without a prescription. But, it seems they have all mysteriouly disappeared. I suppose due the the FDA crackdown on online pharmacies. I have found a few sites that offer the generic, but I'm looking for the BRAND name without spending a fortune. I've tried going to several doctors that won't prescribe me the drug until I have done 4-6 months of supervised dieting with a dietary councelor. This is bull. I'm 130# overweight and at my wits end. Any help would really REALLY be appreciated!!

I'm curious as to why you think 6 months of supervised dieting with a dietary councelor is bull. I understand being at your wits end but you are much more likely to lose weight and keep it off by learning to eat properly. Meridia (or any other weight loss aid) isn't going to help you with that, especially if you don't obtain the prescription from a doctor who is willing to work with you along the way.

I realize how daunting a task losing 130 pounds can be and I'm not trying to preach to you. It is just that I've been at my wits end as well. I never lost weight and kept it off until I accepted the fact that I would have to learn to eat right, control my portions, and exercise. Something like Merida may help you lose weight, but it won't do the work for you.
