One of my coworker's friends works at Curves, and I suddenly realized there's one right next to my house that I've never even tried.

Does anyone know about Curves and know if it's a good workout?

I tried a more privately owned place called Slender Lady out here, and it was a rip off 'cause they wanted you to make a year long subscription. I'd just want to pay month-to-month.

If you look at the whole exercise section, you'll see there's a sub-forrum devoted just to Curves! Lots of 3FC members are Curves members.

I've been going to curves since January! I think it's a good workout. You get what you put into it. I work up a good sweat there. Plus I love that they take your measurments monthly.

I tried Slender Lady, actually. For about a year. I lost a little over 50 pounds there. It's the same basic idea as Curves, and the workout is really great. You go in a circut 30 seconds at each station and three repititions. They also do nutrition. You can pay extra (always a catch) and get weekly conferences with the nutritionist. It's very helpful. I had a mate who did Curves for a bit. She started off strong, but once her free month was over, she didn't have the motivation to start again. I think it's fantastic, though.
