I went out for sushi the other night- although I was discouraged because it is so high in sodium. But go for the sashimi instead of the rolls, and count as a normal protein. With the rolls- depending on how much rice is used you could probable count one tuna roll as 1 starch and 1/2 protein- it's probable only about 2 oz. of fish. Hope this helps! marbear 12-08-2005, 03:34 PM I am sorry you've not gotten a lot of responses, but it's probably because we just don't know that much about it. Ask a counselor. Maybe you could also think of a carb craver thing in regards to the rolls. toria 12-08-2005, 08:23 PM I love sushi too...if I have a california roll (5 piece) I count as one starch and one protein if the rice is not too much...I may be off though marbear 12-08-2005, 10:23 PM I'd think you'd count fat as well since I think california rolls have avacado in them. toria 12-08-2005, 10:39 PM oh right good point Mar thanks! foxyc83 12-09-2005, 03:03 AM Awesome thanks!
