Hi All,
This is the first diet forum I have ever joined in my whole life -but after reading this, it seems to be the best thing to do!
I started with the LAWL program on Monday - made it through LA Express (1lb down!) and am trying to work my way through the purple plan!
Ever since I was little I have wanted to an average weight - and yet I was always a little bit more than average! In the last year of university I put on over 20 lbs and that is just not good (considering I wasnt light before!)
My hope is that LAWL works for me. I've tried all the self-diets you can try - I've tried pills, juices, and just plain starving! But I lose faith easily and therefore lose track of the plan. My final target date is July (which is really close) but I'm worried that the plan won't work for me.
I think the real reason I am on this page is for support. I have been reading through some posts, and I think this is a great place to get the support I need. I really learned a lot about counsellors, the bars (which i can't stand! So I hope someone can confirm that they can lose without the bars!) And finally I need a lot of advice - especially for those late night chocolate cake fixes?!? And how do you eat all that food (today was my first day on the purple plan and I feel like I haven't stopped eating - the two guys I'm working with must think I'm a pig!)
So thanks for creating such a welcoming arena for struggling weight losers and I hope to interact with you all more in the future.
