Exclamation December Exercise Challenge

OK, it's a new month and time for some new (or re-newed) exercise habits--at least for me! I know that if I want to meet my Christmas goal, and not gain over the holidays, that exercise is a MUST!!

Would anyone like to join me in an exercise challenge? I thought we could just post daily here whether or not we exercised and for how long. What do you guys think? I know that it would help me.

I say get back on the couch and leave my conscience alone!!

Okay. Ahem ... I will do it. I have NO idea what it will be, but each night I'll post either way.

Hi Annie! to our little corner of the world. Usually when we have challenges we just pick our own goals. My idea was just to post daily as to whether or not we exercised. It's really more of an accountability thing than a "challenge."
So are you doing core? If you'd like, you can post your info on our profile thread and read about us as well. Also, we chat daily on our numbered threads, I think we are on 34 right now. We're glad to have you!

Hi,
Great idea because with all the shopping and decorating and trying to eat right, exercise is the first to not get done for me.
So, saying that, yesterday I did my yoga routine. Yay for me! Then I went and babysat my grandson who is faster than lightning and probably more of a workout than anything!
Good idea to start this. I promise to post whether I exercise or not. Good luck to us all.

I'll try it. (And I'll try to keep the whining to myself ) I spent five hours on Saturday and four hours yesterday raking leaves. 64,284 APs, right? But now that it's done, I don't know what to do with myself.

It'll probably just be walking my dog and using my little mini stepper while I watch SpongeBob, but at least I'll be accountable.

I'll join in! I got sick after Thanksgiving, so I'm trying to get back in my exercise routine. Today I did 15 min. on the elliptical machine at my gym, then 30 min of weights with my trainer. Tomorrow I hope to make it through my kickboxing class. It's an hour, but I'm still dragging a bit from being sick. I missed 2 classes and I was really bummed! I lost .4 pound after Thanksgiving, so I want to stay on track.

This morning I did a 45 minute step class and then abs, back, and biceps.

Tanya, Maria, Kim,
Weigh to go! You're exercising and setting a great example.
Today I am proud of myself because just as I was about to get on treadmill, my dd and dg showed up. My dd told me to go ahead and exercise because she knows it's so important to me. I did 1/2hour on treadmill and 1 1/2 miles.
That's great! Take it easy and keep posting.

All I did was walk my dog today. And I had to cut that short because I didn't realize how cold it was, and I went out without gloves. (It was 14°F)

( <-- That is my dog over there, by the way. I need to drive our walk route, to see how long it actually is...)

Yeah, we came back a lot faster than we went out.

How is it warmer in MT than here? I'm like 800 miles south of you!
