Ok guys,I know there is a Thanksgiving Challenge and a Christmas Challenge,but I want a New Years day goal ;) My goal is to loose 15 pounds between now and then.We have about 7 weeks..I know we can do it..So whats your weight loss goal for the new year?

Okay!

My goal is to lose 11 lbs. by January 1st. I hope I'll be able to stay on track with all the yummy Christmas cookies around. :D

okay snapple girl here i am ready to go my new years goal combined with xmas goal is 13lbs so we'll see how it goes. we can do this girls. :)

Well, I want to hit 195 by x-mas so if and when I do, I want to Maintain through the Holiday! I will be in FL for all of Christmas/New Year's week!

Ok sign me up! I need a good goal and a KICK in the butt. I want to be down 20lbs by New Year's Eve and I know this will be hard because I will be at the in laws house for Christmas through New Years!

I'm psyched that I lost 3 pounds in my first week. It was difficult at first and I made some mistakes, but I ate better and it's showing on the scale. For the first time in a long time, the scale is going down! Yay! My goal is to get more exercise in and to plan, plan, plan ahead.

I just set my New Years goal, so I will join your thread.

I follow the Wendie Plan and my goal is to exercise six days a week and lose 14 pounds. I have already lost 4 pounds this week.

I started exercising today, so this week I will only be exercising five days. I will need to complete 29 workouts to reach my goal by December 31.

wow winter star 4 lbs this week that is great keep it up . youw ill be at goal in no time :)i love working out always feel so great afterwards

Ok! I'm going for 159! Even though I have 160 for Christmas that is 9 lbs and I will be happy to be in the 150's for after the Holidays! I'm thinking 160 will be a stretch but I going for it. Pam

I Want To Be 199 On New Years Eve. It Just 1 Point Under My Christmas Goal. But To Start The New Year And Say Goodbye To The 200's Sounds Like A Great Way To Bring In The New Year!!!!!

Good Morning!

I am well on my to reaching my goal for New Years. I began my weight loss journey on Sunday and have already lost 6.5 pounds. In a way this scares me, but I know a lot of it is water weight. I am not expecting to lose to much, if anything for the next week.

I barely got my exercise in yesterday. I started at 10:00 pm. I know if I had not joined this challenge I would have sloughed it off. One nice thing, I was really warm when I went to sleep. For the first time in months I slept through the whole night.

Huntersmommy - Great job on the exercise! I am sure the scales will reward you on Tuesday.

I have kept up with my workouts. Will be exercising at 9 pm tonight. The plan is 1 mile WATP, Abdominals for Dummies, and Kathy Smith New Basics Yoga. Trying to give my leg muscles a bit more rest before I do lower body weight training.

that sounds great. i ended up with an hour and a half in yesterday made me feel so good that I did that much. I'm fixin to go walk away the pounds again here in a few minutes .

Good Morning!

I need to add a new challenge. I have been on holidays this week, but start back to work on Tuesday. I need to exercise before I go to work, to ensure I do it. So that is my new challenge, morning workouts. Today workout time is at 11:30 am. Which is a lot better then at 8 & 9 pm. Tomorrow I will strive for 8:00 am.

Where is everyone? It only seems to be huntersmommy and myself.

you guys sound like you are doing great. I have been doing my water, but the exercise has been hard. MIL has been here since Thanksgiving and has overtaken the livingroom day and night. She left today so hoping to start working out! Drinking water as I speak!!

Im hoping to lose atleast 2lbs this week to make up for the lb I gained last week and to have some kind of loss this week. Cant wait till Monday morning to find out!

Today is weigh-in day and I am down 5 pounds. Not bad for the first week. Exercise is going well. My upper abs are very sore this morning after two days of ab workouts. I will rest them today. I haven't decided exactly how I will exercise today but the plan is at least 1 hour.

AKisstoYou - Were you able to workout yesterday? I know what its like to have someone in your workout area. We used to live in a very small condo (we were building a new home) and there was someone or stuff in the living room all the time. Now I live in a big house and I have several rooms to choose from. No excuses anymore.

Ok I think I would like to jump in on this challenge. Being new to the program, I am setting my first goal to WRITE DOWN EVERYTHING I EAT!! I do ok with this for the most part but could do better, because there are tidbits going in my mouth but not getting on the paper! LOL :devil:

Second goal is to lose 10 more pounds :dizzy:

Brooke - Welcome to the challenge!

Angie - I accept your daily challenge. Since today is almost over, I will give my goal for tomorrow. I will exercise at 6:00 am. I already have DH and the boys ready. So I have no excuses. I bought a new Yoga series at Costco called 'Yoga Now.' They have a 10 minute AM and PM workout, I may try it tonight.

Well I didn't make it for 6:00 am, but I was exercising before 7:00 AM :carrot: Today's goal, is to stand tall, shoulders back, chest out, abs tight. I need to improve my posture.

girls we can do this we are beautiful women and our health and families are so worth all this hard work.

i went for weigh in this morning down 1.4 this week so i have now lost 115 pounds 40 more pounds till goal.

today my goal is to get in one hour workout if my lil one coopeartes otherwise I have to wait till hubby gets home

drink that water I have had 3 bottles already need to be drinking more though feel like i live in the bathroom somedays..

Hey ladies sounds like everyone is doing great on the challenge. I did get to exercise on Sat and I exercised Monday and Today. I have also been chugging the water, which I hope will help. I want a really good week when I weigh in this Monday. I have gained and only lost a 1lb this week when I weighed in. Im looking for a 3lb loss and I know the only way to get it is water, exercise, and stay with in my points.

You guys are the best motivation a girl can get!!!!!!!!

well my weight is down some more i weighed 161 on my scale at 4 this evening so i hope to have a good weigh in next week. how is everyone doing today. staying on plan drinking that water and working out i got in an hour and 15 minute workout :) hope to do more later. getting a cold the stinkin weather goes from 70 to brr here lately and then back up hope my lil guy doesnt catch the bug since i'm home with him all day.

I really need to start exercising. I have come to realize if I do not exercise right when I get up in the morning, I will make excuses the rest of the day. My goal for Monday is to exercise first thing in the AM. I can still reach my goal of 29 workouts by New Years Day. I am really trying to concentrate on exercising to remove the fat from by body.

Hello ~ I am also doing the christmas challenge. But I am up for the New Years Challenge too. I weighed in last night and lost 2.5 pounds and my total so far is 11.5 pounds lost.


My New Years Challenge is too:


Lose 5 more pounds

stick with writing down

drinking my water

and trying to put exercise in the program. Im not a big exercise person use to walk outside alot till got really cold. I have treadmill but gets boring.

cryket i'm over here on this challenge to :) why stop at a christmas challenge when you can challenge yourself to a new you to start the new year :) your doing a great job. you can do it :)

Jan exercise is such a big part of weight loss success i'm finding its making a huge differenc enot only are the pounds coming off but also the inches

Huntersmommy - you are so right~ gotta keep the motivation going~ Just gotta get my butt in gear and exercise. I have treadmill but find it boring. I find that this site keeps me going. But will try to work in exercise.

ladies you are doing so great. :) had weigh in this morning down 2.2 for the week ww is not having a meeting next tuesday so I wont know if i made my xmas goal or new years goal til the following tuesday at weigh in i will definitely miss not having the meeting next week. so ladies what are you doing for the next couple weeks to stay on plan and meet your goals :)

I am still doing treadmill~ I am doing 30 mins now each morning. I weigh in tonight~ I dont think I lost I think I gained and am upset was doing fine till I started adding exercise. Hoping it will level off. I also need to drink more water has slacked off some on that.

cryket definitely gotta drink that water stay away from pop or soda whatever its called in your neck of the woods i grew up calling it pop that will make a difference to if i have a week i slack on the water and drink more pop i dont lose as much on the scale. you can do it girl :) i dont get to see how the new years challenge went until january 3rd i think it is. no meeting today :(

Hey ladies well, I fell of the wagon this past weekend and continued to roll around. Ouch. I stepped on the scale and Im up 2lbs. I did everything wrong. slacked on the water, I probably ate a weeks worth of points just on christmas. So today im back to starting over!!!!! My tummy is still hurting. Im adjusting my new years goal to 206 to get back where I was before Christmas and then 1 more pound.

Thanks Angie, that is exactly what im trying to do. I am already at 40oz for the day and still drinking. Im deciding on whether I should do below my points for the next couple of days or if I should just stick to my regular amount of points and make sure I dont go over or use any flex points for the rest of this week. Any suggestions?

anna i would stick with your normal pts allowance dont want your body to think your starving it and have it start holding on to everything. great job on the water :)

I believe your right. I started fresh yesterday and stayed within my point range so Im just going to do it again today. There's no need to look back at this past weekend, so there's no need to mess with my points. I think alot of it's got to be water weight. When I woke up this morning I was so bloated and my face and fingers were swollen.. So im hoping if I continue to down the water that it will help.

how are we doing over here girls? i fell off the wagon yesterday big yuck so mad at me havnet fell off in a long long time. had pizza and chips and dip fingers are so puffy today is a new day going to eat chicken and veggies and really watch it i have weigh in on tuesday at ww hope to goodness i dont show a gain sicne we didnt have weigh in last week i missed it so bad its the one thing that really helps keep me focused so on tuesday they are running a special for current memebers for 4 months at 110.00 so thats what i'm doing to start my new year :)

I also went off last night - After shopping we went to Friendlys, I had mozzarella sticks and than a grilled chicken sandwich and fries. But I am going forward and behaving rest of weekend~ I weigh in on Monday.
