Hi there,

I've been reading the posts for the past 9 weeks that I've been on LAWL. It's really been helpful. I've been having success (18 lbs.) but a friend who joined when I did is just not committed right now. She has 2 weeks left on her initial weight loss plan, but will not get anywhere near her goal. Does anyone know whether you can put your plan "on hold" for a while? (Neither one of us are doing the LA Lites, and we only go in 1-2 times per week for weigh-ins, so a rebate is not really an issue for us.) I think it would be best for her to get mentally back on track and then start it again when she can give it her all.

thanks,
Linda

I have heard of several people being put on hold...for various reasons traveling, surgery, and just because. So I'm sure they could do that for your friend.

Linda - I've put the plan on hold several times, but they will want a start date. At least that's my experience.

Good luck to your friend, and don't be shy! Start posting!

They told me that the max amount of time they could put me on hold was 2 weeks. I was out of town longer than that and I lost the other weeks! Is it true that the max is 2 weeks?

If you have surgery you are on hold for a month after the surgery date.

I put my plan on hold for 3 weeks while I was out of town, and no one seemed to have a problem with it.
