Before SBD we loved this recipe, and as it gets cooler here I find I'm missing it so I made a few alterations and I "think" it's phase 2 allowed. Any input is greatly appreciated!! Oh yeah, one more thing... my family hates lima beans but loves this stuff. Funny huh?? Let me know if you try it and what you think. (I personally think it serves more than 8 I'm making it this week so we will see.)

To make this SBD favorable I switched out potatoes for cauliflower. I also add Emeril's essence to this and a bit more red pepper. We like it hot.

I use the lower salt vegetables and have used frozen vegetables and it worked out fine too.

I'm making this tonight, but I'm adding some english peas instead of cauliflower (I don't eat potatoes in my Brunswick Stew, anyway). Hope it's yummy!!!

This was REALLY good!!! I didn't use the flour to thicken it, though...it was thick enough for my tastes.

I have to say, though...it gives me HORRIBLE gas pains, even after Beano, LOL
