Default G'day from Australia

G'Day all,

I am new here and just wanted to say a big hello to all of you. I started WW 4 weeks ago and have been following the points myself at home. I have been reading these forums for the past couple of weeks and learned some useful tips. So far I have lost 10 pounds and hope to continue losing. You guys are truly motivating and I have no doubt I can reach my goal with support from here.

look forward to reading and posting more in the future

Donna :-)

Welcome

I am from the frozen sunny north in Canada. Not so sunny here today
It is snowing

I have been a WW member forever and have been struggling to get this last bit off forever.

DS's girlfriend is going to New Zealand and Austrailia in Feb after she finishes her Culinary Arts training. DS is hoping to meet her for a couple of weeks. My parents go every second winter for 3 mths but this is their off year

would love to go sometime

Thank you for the warm welcomes

Cindy: New Zealand and Aus are really nice this time of the year so she will have a fantastic time! But I do hope she likes the heat because Feb is very hot here I don't cope well with the heat, lol. So if its snowing where you are now does that mean you will have a white Christmas? I would love to have a white Christmas for a change lol, it would be a nice change rather than sweating my behind off in the heat

yes we will definately have a White Christmas
I have only experienced 2 brown Christmas's and one was when we went to Florida and Disneyworld one year and the other was in 1997 when we didn't get snow until New Years that year.

We don't have alot of snow on the ground so far - just a skiff. Not enough to do any of the winter sports yet. The snowmobilers are all doing the neked snow dance in their back yards I'm sure

DS will likely try to meet his GF in New Zealand for a week there as she has an aunt and uncle who live there and then they will go to Australia together for a week. GF's family is originally from Holland and are rather spread out al over the world, Holland, Canada, Italy.
Sounds wonderful to me. I know my parents just love it. They met another couple from NZ a few years ago on a bus tour to Britain/Ireland/Scotland/Wales so they visit back and forth a bit every other year. Very interesting country. My parents have travelled to every continent and they have decided Autralia/NZ is just great. They would very much like to go back to Africa but it is very dangerous alot of the places they would like to go back to.

Would love to hear more about Austrailia.

Well Done!! on the 4lb loss, I have only managed to lose a 1lb this week and I was so sure i was going to lose more especially after doing everything right, including 4 visits to the gym..........it can be sooooooooooo frustrating at times, BUT!! at least its a loss. I was hoping to be down to 205 before xmas but I think that may be wishful thinking.......oh well

@ Karen I guess sweating my butt off wasnt that "easy" lol, thanks for the weclome

Stress in my life either makes me gain or lose and never know which LOl!!!!

Take Care
