good morning everyone. I am new here. A friend gave me this website and I have been on it since 8am!! I think I am addicted already. I am here for support to lose about 55 lbs. I never want to be skinny..never have..but I do want to be under 200 lbs...so I have a goal of 180. I am thinking of joining weight watchers...

I actually worked out yesterday and realized I'm in control of what I want to do whatever it may be. that's very empowering

Welcome TheChubbyOne I know what you mean about this site being addicting. Some days when I'm not too busy with work I'll probably spend several hours on here over the course of the whole day. I like to think of it as a healthy way to obsess about weightloss (rather than eating too much or too little or thinking negative thoughts).

I've had a few unexplainable ups and downs over the last few days, not sure if it's hormones, the weather, lack of sleep or what. Don't mind the ups so much, but need to figure out why now for all this. Anyways, been crazy busy at work (always a good thing for me, the way I like it) so I'll have to catch up with you ladies more a little later.

How is everyone doing? How are you all getting over your 'hump' today?

good afternoon all.
It's very dreary here today and it is making me feel all the more drearier...I feel like frigging Eeyore some days. lol
I have been having a lot of ups and downs lately? Weather? Depression setting in? Not making the right food choices? Not sleeping enough? I am not sure what is doing it...may be all of the above.
I bought myself some Melatonin yesterday after reading about its benefits in Prevention magazine...anyone else tried it?
