or if you don't pray positive thoughts. My 14 yo granddaughter ran away last night, police are involved as one of her friends knows where she is but won't tell. we just want her home so we can deal with things. she has some issues and we thought we were dealing with them but..apparently not to her satisfaction. she did leave a note and say she has a safe place to stay but...her choices lately have not been too great.

(((Bunna and family))) Sweetie, I can't imagine the fear and anguish you're feeling right now. Please know you're in my thoughts and prayers. I hope your granddaughter will realize that running away won't solve her problems. Maybe you can get this friend to get her to call you and talk. Would she agree to professional counseling?

Take care and keep us posted.

Oh Bunna, my heart goes out to you all. I had much the same situation with my daughter at that age. It did resolve itself but it was very hard.

Bunna - Even though your gd is home, I'm still praying for her. Teenage years can be so difficult....too grown up to be a kid....too young to be an adult - very confusing.

runaway is scooping out her graNDDAD'S HORSE BARN TODAY AND TOMORROW WHILE HER MOM GETS COUNSELLING SCHEDULED, sorry didn't mean to yell, the cast hits things i don't want sometimes and typing one fingered i have to watch the keyboard.

anyway granddad will stay home with her for those two days and it gets her away from certain people in town. just giving some time to figure out some protective steps, like for one her bedroom window is being permanently closed because any other route and she has to pass by my light sleeping son and dil. at any rate nothing like some good hard work to help you think and clear your mind.

she just needs to realize how loved and how important she is to all of us, we tell her all the time but she needs to believe it.

thank you all for your prayers and concern.
