I'm joining in if you don't mind!

My goal is to exercise for 10 minutes today. I am in major pain due to my miscarriage, but I need to get started anyway.

Good luck everyone!

Mandy -- :welcome: Sorry to hear of your miscarriage :( ... Exercise will take your mind off the emotional pain too...

Wednesday -- Legs, I had a difficult time getting into it but I managed 50 minutes ... then I skipped on the bosu ball for 30 mins.... tonight I have swimming... I may even throw in some jogging later in the afternoon...

Had a good UBWO last night (arms are sore today :) ) and some :tread:, but not enough. I'm planning on more of that tonight.

Monday -- LEGS :strong: ... Did 5 sets of squats 15,12,10,8,6, starting with just the bar then adding 10# on each side every set ... step-ups super setting with bosu skipping ... one legged lunges ... one leg dead lifts ... then 10 minutes of walking lunges on the treadmill with a 7% incline ... I had to stop after 10 minutes because my knees were getting sore :( ... but with reason I think :D .... So it was a good workout!

Ilene - my knees are screaming for you! Yikes, that's a lot of work for them.

Sat: UBWO, 1/2 hour :tread: including actual running (as opposed to fast walking) for several minutes. :) Hope to increase that time tonight.

Hi -- can I join in?

Here's what I did yesterday:

Hauled and stacked wood for 2 hours (winter's coming and my shoulders are sore!)
Walked the dogs twice for 20 minutes each
40 minutes on the treadmill (5 minute warm up, 30 minutes running @ 1% incline level 6, 5 minute cool down)
15 minutes Pilates abs
10 minute stretch

It's a beautiful day here to day and I am hoping to spend a lot of it outside. Have a great day!

Thanks!

Yesterday I hauled and stacked wood for 45 minutes, did an hour of yard work, walked the dogs for 45 minutes, did 30 minutes of Pilates, and did all of my physical therapy stretches. Now I'm hoping to get a run in today...

Have a great Monday!

Today is the 1st time I've walked/run in 2 weeks. My husband and I both got out there and did 2 miles then I came home, did some twisting lunges and stretched for about a half hour or so. I actually feel really good.
2 miles down for the month, 38 more to go before Christmas :flow1:

Biceps, triceps and abs today. Man, have I gotten slack! I was doing tricep kickbacks with 10 lbs but today had to do 5's to get in a decent amount of reps.
Warning! don't take stupid breaks .... for months on end:)

:welcome: BACK Susan  Glad to see you're back on the wagon!

Today a great 6k run! It was cold and I loved it, I love running in the cold so much nicer than the friggen heat!

Thanks Ilene. I've missed you. I really have.
Today with five day split a la Mel, it's quads and hams day. So I did squats, lunges, step ups, leg press, deadlifts and leg extentions. Not much weight but lots of reps. Then I wobbled up to the computer and realized I left my green tea in the kitchen! I wobbled down to get it.

Ilene

18" wow that's a LOT  ... I ended up not running but shoveled snow instead...

I did chest and calves yesterday (quads and hams on Wed.)and then DH came home with the stuff to paint the kitchen ceiling (we have a wood stove). I am the official cutting-in-er so up and down the ladder I went. My legs were burning. And that's just the primer. Tonight is the real paint!
I'm not sure if I'll do back and abs today. I did do some snow because I had to go to the post office.Ah we'll see how the day goes.

Ran 5k on the dreadmill this morning...

I did do back and abs today. It feels wonderful! I feel taller straighter and slimmer.
My dreadmill has a layer of dust on it so thick, I'd probably clog the works if I tried it :)

Ah, another day off - the second of 4. I love it! Went to the gym with my DH for a change. Did a full body workout :strong: since I hadn't gone earlier in the week due to my lower back spasming. Felt good for most of the exercises though. Then I did a mile on the elliptical and had a nice long shower with someone else's hot water.

Our snow finally stopped last night, and I have to go and get the last 3 inches off the back deck, but until I get ambitious enough to shovel a path to the back shed (where the seed for the bird feeders is, along with suitcases and the like) the shoveling is done. Hard work, I can feel it in my forearms mostly.
