New thread for the month...

Great job! Do you bundle up with mittens and everything? I don't realte to cold much...in Southern Cali it's pretty warm even in Winter!
I did 1 hour of yoga and will be doing 30 minutes on the treadmill later :carrot: today; maybe I'll even lift some weights but I'm not sure. I am trying to have more realistic with my goals and am promising on the low end so if I do more, it's a bonus and if I don't I am still a success! ;)

Good going exercisers! :cp:
Yogini -Oh yeah! It is not so bad today - about 7 Celcius. This morning was -1C with the wind chill factor so I had my tights on with knee high boots, faux leather jacket, light scarf and gloves.
You really have to bundle up in the winter here as the temperature can get below -40C with the wind -BRRR! :yikes: (Not as cold as Yellowknife etc. but still bloody cold!)
I am going to make an attempt to go skating and toboganning this winter. :D

I'm still planning on walking at lunch and hitting the pool tonight. Grrr, I hate it when my body doesn't cooperate with the program :/

Walk down hill to my house and put away my groceries.
Then DH not home from side job - so walked down to horses, drag cart full of hay across muddy pasture - try not to fall down while horses try to eat out of the cart you are pulling (ever pull a wheeled cart thru mud that is over 6 inches deep?) it aint easy. Tani, you really are an inspiration, especially since your high weight and goal weight are very close to mine -- 263 down to 140. I just cannot get back into the exercise groove. I used to love going to the gym and to water aerobics. (Heh, at 43, I'm the hot young chickie in the group!) But my dedication to it has been abysmal of late. I know I really need the cardio, but I'm going to vow, here and now, to do at least my hand and leg weights at home tonight. It will be start.
Awh, Thanks Maggie. It really helps that my exercise is a set part of my schedule. I don't buy a metro pass anymore so if I want to skip my bike ride I have to dig out change for the bus to make it to work ;) Also, my mom takes my aquacize classes with me so if I skip that I'll get called a lazy bum too, heh.
Wednesday: 1 hour bike ride
Thursday: 1 hour bike ride. They closed the pool due to our freak snow, so no aquacize.
Friday: 45 minute walk
Saturday: 1 hour aquacize
