how do the walk away the pound videos work? do you just walk in place in the house side to side I'm sorry Ive seen them at walmart and have been curious about them especially with the coming colder months. I have heard water aerobics is alot of fun and not so hard on the body. I do love my daily walks thanks for the post loralee

www.walkawaythepounds.com or www.lesliesansone.com will help you with the Walk Away The Pounds videos.

I do the WATP in the morning M-Sa and then I hit the gym in the afternoon. I do weights for my legs, calfs, back and biceps on M/Th; weights for my chest, shoulders, abs and triceps Tu/F and hard/heavy cardio on one of the machines on W.

Swimming at the Y or jogging on the treadmill. I used to hate to run, but I noticed that walking didn't get my heart rate going, so I stepped it up one day. And I started doing 19 mins walking, 1 min running, then 18 mins walking, 2 mins running, on and on... Now I'm doing 30 minutes running and a good 20 minutes walking and I love it!

I just got a Y membership a few months ago. When I first started last year, I did Richard Simmons Blast Off videos and walking. This spring, I moved on to WATP videos. I really like them and will probably use them this winter if I can’t get to the Y. I also love hiking when I can find the time on a pretty day!

Since I joined the Y, I like the elliptical machine, treadmill (I’ve been trying to incorporate jogging too), and I just had my first cycling class. It was okay, but I like the pilates class better.

My corner gym is $9.00 per month. It is not fancy, more a guys gym but has everything I need to get and stay in shape.......
If you can't find a cost effective gym there are hundreds of tapes you can do at home.
I have done it both ways. The MAIN thing is that you just "DO" it.......
