Weekly exercise thread (Oct. 17-30)
I did the walk and jog 2 1/2 tape yesterday morning. I had plans for more exercise yesterday evening but was too tired after the 3 hour drive, 2 hour wait and arguing with Jeff to get off my butt.
I again slept in this morning and didn't get in my walk but have dumped the 1 mile WATP DVD onto my computer at work and will be doing it over my lunch break. (I have a nice empty area in front of my desk and I can turn around my monitor).
Tonight, depending on what time I get home, I plan to ride my bike the 2+ mile trip and then will walk/jog during the Biggest Loser.
I have a goal of 12 hours of exercise this week. I'm just experimenting to see how I feel doing basically 2 hours a day. I'll go back to my 1 hour day/6x a week next week.

I went for a nice little walk with the kids last night.(and the dog!)
Tonight I will probably do the same walk because the kids loved it. But its light exercise so I am going on a bike ride today. I have a 2 mile loop.
I like your idea of tracking hours of exercise and making the goal of doing so many hours.
Hey just noticed you are in oklahoma too! I'm in OKC.

Well hello fellow Okie. Joyce (jmacway) and sheldilbry (Shelly) are also from Oklahoma. We had another one, Angie but she hasn't been on here in a while. I work in Eufaula and live about 30 minutes away.

Phew Dawnyal, it makes me tired even thinking of 12 hours of exercise a week!!
I am attempting a come back to the world of exercise! I do abs 3-4 times a week, but today in an attempt to rid myself of a headache I did 1 mile WATP. What a great invention those WATP dvd's! A friend sent me the 1mile, and I got the 2 mile fat burning one.

Yesterday I did a 30 mile bike ride. I made it up 1 hill and had to walk up the other 3. I'm going to try for 2 hills on Thursday. I walked for 30 minutes during the biggest loser.
Today so far I've done 45 min. for the 3 mile WATP. Still planning on the 1 mile (15 minutes) and the walk and jog when I get home (30 minutes.) I think I'm also going to do yoga tonight before bed.

Well I did 1 mile WATP, and the bf did it with me.. it was very amusing. He refused to put on shoes, or pants.. I had to turn away to stop laughing.

LOL Aimee that is so funny. Sounds like something Jeff would do. I'm glad to see you posting in here. I was about to start belting out some Lonely songs.
I did a 2 mile bike ride last night. It only took me 20 minutes for it. I rode the paved road in front of the house. I've been riding the gravel/dirt road next to the house and it takes me 30 minutes to go the same distance. Can you tell which is the harder workout?
I did the 4 mile super challenge this morning.
Still on the plate for today:
1 mile WATPx2
bike ride on dirt road
1 hour of walking during survivor.
Yoga if I'm up to it before bed.

So, how do you find time to do all of this? You are working 8 hours a day, exercising during your lunch, and then when you get home? I can't even imagine!! I get home from work at 6-6:30pm most nights (Except today I'm on the late shift), and I eat dinner, and do some dishes, reply to some emails and its time for bed! Phew!
I did 2 mile WATP Fat Burner today, it was the first time I've done it. It was good! And now I'm drinking an all fruit smoothie

I've been getting up between 5:30 and 6 to exercise for an hour in the morning, I do 30 minutes on my lunch break. Jeff has been working the early shift and has dinner detail so I don't have to worry about that and can bike for 30 minutes when I first get home. I eat dinner, spend time with the kids and then walk while I'm watching TV. I usually go to bed between 10 and midnight after that.
This week I wanted something to challenge me so I set out for 12 hours of exercise. Just to do it. No other reason. Next week I'll go back to my 1 hour a day 6x a week.

Wow girl you are an inspiration! I exercise for at least an hour a day too. Six days a week. Hard to believe since I use to do nothing! It has taken me awhile to get to this point. Feels good. Real good.

Well the cold front came in at home (it was still warm and toasty at work) and too cold for me to get out and bike. I don't need an ear infection right now. So by the time we sat down for dinner and relaxd I just didn't feel up to exercising and instead sat down to watch survivor. Oh well.
This morning I reset my alarm but forgot to turn it back on and overslept. I more than like won't meet my 12 hour goal this week but that's okay. I will have in at least 8 since I'm going to do 15-30 minutes of walking at lunch and at least 30 tonight at mom's. This weekend we are going to a festival and I will get in leisure walking there and plan on a couple hours of more structured walking. I really need to get back into the yoga again. It feel so good when I do it and really relaxes me.
