I would think that if it has sugar in it it may, sugar makes me retain water...

like Ilene said, if it has sugar, or sodium it will.
I make my own iced green tea...and it certainly doesn't make me retain water :D
If its something like the starbucks ice green tea, you might want to check out their website and the nutritional information about the drink.
