Angry Pants Poll!

Age: 25

Height: 5'6"

Weight: 165.4 lbs.

Bone Structure: Medium

I carry most of my weight in my: Stomach (Will it ever go away?)

Pant Size: Old Navy Jeans - 12 regulars

Shirt Size: 14 womens/Medium-Large misses

Given Birth: Yes, natural

Okay ladies, this is just a random poll for my own twisted interest/anger at clothing manufacturers. I am getting so tired of my friends (who weigh more than me) being able to fit into a smaller size pants than me What's wrong with me I included the above factors to account for differing variables. I hope the questions aren't too personal/offensive for anyone. I just gotta know!!!

Hey There,

Age: 27 (28 on 10/29)

Height: 5'7" or 5'8"

Weight: 164 lbs.

Bone Structure: Small

I carry most of my weight in my: Stomach!!

Pant Size: SIZE 10- Old Navy

Shirt Size: Medium/Large -Old Navy

Given Birth: Yes, natural-just over a year ago.

I like to get my clothes from Old Navy because of the sizes! However I am truley like a 12/14 in other brands.

It is so hard to go into stores now a days. I have heard that manufacturers are changing there sizing methods. So it looks like you are a smaller size!

Isn't it so awful that women have to go buy sizes in order to feel better about themselves!

I carry most of my weight in my: Thighs

Pant Size: 4-6-8 depending on brands though I still wear some 10's and 12's but they are majorly saggy without a belt

Shirt Size: sm/medium...I have a long torso in comparison with the rest of me so I have trouble finding shirts that are long enough..also my boobs don't get in the way much considering I am a 34/36b on a good day!

Given Birth: Nope

And Stephanie I just have to say that it was the saddest day when my size 11 J-Lo skirt didn't fit anymore so I would never make fun of your J-Lo pants!

Bone Structure: Large

I carry most of my weight in my: Maybe my hips (?), but I am really pretty well proportioned.

Pant Size: Usually a 10, but still the occassional 12.

Shirt Size: Large

Given Birth: Eek! NO!

I say I wear mostly 10s and sometimes 12s, but there is the occassional oddball brand where I need a 14. Obviously, I don't buy those brands, so I am a 10 or 12.

Amanda is starting to feel short and pudgey...compared to many of the ladies responding. Okay, so the more i think about it, the more I think I carry the extra weight pretty evenly in the lower half of my body. I mean, well my stomach is huge in comparison (thanks to my wonderful little Jobe), but I also have "thick" thighs, and a big ol' ghetto booty!

Given Birth: Yes, but I was built worse before, no just weighed more.

Its weird to see how everyone is built so different. I am totally out of proportion, I always try to work on my upper body at the gym but it still is a lot smaller. I dont' think I'll ever lose my hips and butt, nor would I want to, but I do want them to fit into a not plus size size!

Age: 28

Height: 5'3"

Weight: 159

Bone Structure: Medium

I carry most of my weight in my: thighs, hips-pretty well all over

Pant Size: 16 (not sure about size 16-I'm still wearing an 18 with a belt and they slide down because I can't afford new pants but when I went on vacation in August I was 165ish and was still in tight 16s loose 18s)

Shirt Size: large

Given Birth: No, but I have 2 children who keep me busy!

I just don't get it. I must just have HUGE hips. I always wear a larger size than people who have 20 or 30 pounds on me. Oh well, I have a comfort thing too and won't take clothes that are even a touch too tight. I'll get down there eventually! I've learned not to shoot for a clothes size. Plus I don't really shop at good stores, just Walmart. I did wear a 14 skirt to church and it was a bit loose but it's old and I figured I stretched it out before *smile*

I carry most of my weight in my: umm, body

Pant Size: 22W

There was a thread about clothing sizes and differences between manufacturers and stuff around here somewhere, let me see if I can find it...
