Default Headaches

Okay, dumb question....has anyone done p1 and NOT had headaches? The first time I didn't and it's 3p on day 2 this time and I still don't. It's making wonder if I'm doing something wrong or maybe I'm just lucky.

I didn't have headaches either.

For me it was just a feeling of having somthing like the flu. Tired and ache but no upset stomach or anything like that.

It lasted about 3-5 days the first time and nothing the second time. Just started the third time today and so far nothing other than many bathroom trips.

I never got headaches and feel just fine.
I have no idea what "3p" is unless she means 3 pounds or three trips to the bathroom.

Must be lower Michigan-speak!

Of course that's what she meant. Silly Ruthie! And you are the Typo Queen!"

That's my evil twin Ruthless. She always talks in italics and is really mean to me.

I am on the 2nd day and got a headache yesterday - but probably because I started my period today LOL so I dont think it has anything to do with being on phase 1.

I have a theory: if you have been eating sugar and cut it out for Phase I, you may get headaches. However, if you've been eating other carbs, you are usually OK.
I wonder if it's true.

Okay, I'm a sugar addict and I've never had the headache in Phase I. I usually start feeling much better after I start Phase I; I have the cravings for awhile but I have more energy. I think I start feeling better because instead of trying to starve myself so I can keep the sugar in my diet and the weight off, I actually eat. I know

I didn't have headaches, just the achy feeling, which went away when I started eating lots of BEANS.

I had headaches, but mine didn't start until the 2nd or 3rd day. It was one big, long headache really - so headache, not headaches. It lasted for a few days - I think 3-4. I seem to recall it cleared up around the end of week 1. I'd cut way back on carbs before I actually started, so I don't think it was anything to do with that. I expect it has to do with an individual's metabolism more than anything. But then, what do I know?
