100 lb. Club - Weekly Weigh-in: October 3rd - October 9th

10-03-2005, 09:16 AM
Hello everyone, time to start yet another week. Well now we're really into October! I'm down another 1lb! I can't believe that I'm almost at 45! :D

Have a great week everyone!

Well due to TOM in mid-week last week and my system of taking weight daily and then averaging it for the week (this keeps me sane -- usually prevents the depression of weigh day being water retention day as well etc. -- this time it works against me), I am only down an average of .6. The scale today ACTIUALLY registers a loss of 3.4 lbs. from last week and I seriously thought about putting that as my loss. If I did that, though, it would be inconsistenet with the way I have been doing it all along and, thus, cheating. So, officially, down .6 and looking forward to getting a better average next week.

I don't know that I deserve to post here because of the reason for my weight loss but since I am feeling so much better I want to be able to start posting more.

I have lost 38lbs in about 39 days. I'm still not able to keep even the most basics of foods down but my liquid input is good. I am feeling better mentally so I am hoping that I can get my stomach calmed down enough now to accept some food.

There are so many fantastic losses this week. Everyone is working so hard. It's alot of hard work but has the most wonderful benefits in the end.

10-04-2005, 12:53 PM
Your aloud to post here as much as anyone else Tammy. I sure hope your stomach problems clear up soon so you can eat more healthy.

10-05-2005, 06:19 AM

I stayed the same again although my clothes fit better and I look slimmer to myself. If I could only see a difference in the darn numbers!! Hopefully I will have better luck next week!

10-05-2005, 07:23 AM
I am down 1 more pound.

10-05-2005, 05:19 PM
Such great losses this week. WTG. I'm down 4 pounds in two weeks to 270.5. :)

10-05-2005, 10:35 PM
Good job everyone!

I only had a .8 loss this week, but I'll take it. :)

10-06-2005, 05:17 AM
I'm down 3 pounds this week, for a total of 19 pounds since I've been weighing in on Thursday mornings. I know I lost weight before that, but I don't know how much that would have been.

10-06-2005, 07:39 PM
Down 2 lb after two week holiday with lots of healthy food but also lots of walking. Well done everyone.

10-06-2005, 08:54 PM
Ya'll are doing great! Keep up the good work!

10-07-2005, 12:18 PM
Great job everyone. Dawnyal that is awesome so glad to see you back on track. Keep up the good work. That goes for everyone.

I made my ninth mini goal which puts me at 90% lost. I set up 10 goals when I began. Each was 10% of the weight I wanted to lose. I only have 18 more lbs to get to my original goal. I can't believe it. I'm down 2 for the week.

10-07-2005, 12:23 PM
Awesome Howie!!! Great job!

10-07-2005, 01:17 PM
Wow Howie! Thats great!

10-07-2005, 01:19 PM
Howie that is so great. You are doing so well and I can't wait to read about you making it to your first 100% goal. :)

10-07-2005, 02:05 PM
Thanks all. It sure feels good to only have 18 lbs to get to goal. I will most likly change my goal when I get to 245 but for right now it's 245.

10-07-2005, 03:07 PM
Howie, you are going to stick around here and wait for me to catch up with you in weight loss, right? ;)

10-07-2005, 04:36 PM
HOWIE, you're simply amazing!

It just blows my mind the way you persevere through all the tough times. You look a challenge in the the face and accomplish it no matter the obstacles.

I am SO PROUD of you, and just think you are wonderful. (bet it's got a little to do with the support of the best wife ever, huh?)

10-07-2005, 06:53 PM
Thanks Linda that is sweet of you. And of course it has a lot to do with having a good wife to help and support.

I will be here Matt. I may join over at the maintainers group but this is where my family is.

10-07-2005, 07:54 PM
I sure hope so Howie...you're stuck with us! ;)

10-07-2005, 09:07 PM
Well only for a little while because I'm sure the rest of you will be joining over in the maintainers also.

10-08-2005, 09:07 PM
Lots of great losses, everybody. Thanks for the post Tammy. I gained 3 pounds this week for no apparent reason. I have not been "perfect" but not really that off either. Lots of exercise and water. It's a mystery. DCM

10-09-2005, 11:11 AM
I decided to change my weigh in day to Sunday. I know its silly, but if I weigh in on Sunday then there is more pressure on me to be good during the weekend. Plus, it is the last day of the week and Monday is a good day to start a new beginning if there is a gain.

I got on the scale today and it was 380.2. This was 4 pounds since Thursday. I know that this is most likely just weird weight fluctuations and that next Sunday there will not be a loss of that magnitude. However, I'll take it for right now and deal with next Sunday when it happens!

10-09-2005, 11:47 AM
Good going Matt. I did the weekend weigh in for a while too. Does help to keep you honest.

10-09-2005, 01:17 PM
I don't think it's silly at all! Good job on the extra 4 since Thursday!

10-09-2005, 09:00 PM
Howie, that is amazing!!!! Good for you! I am so proud of you.

10-09-2005, 10:18 PM
I'm down 1 lb. this week.
