Well summer is over in my end of the world! We had our first official snow fall in British Columbia today, 30cm's at that! Wow, that was just TOO quick for my liking! :dizzy:

Jeez, I WISH we had snow! I would so much rather be cold than hot--when I'm cold, I can curl up in fleeces and blankets and stuff to keep cozy and warm, but when I'm hot, there's only so far I can go to cool myself ;) I grew up in CT where I remember often having to figure out how to be able to wear ski pants and snow boots under our halloween costumes, but here in NOVA, it certainly doesn't come as early in the year, and anything over half an inch seems to be reason for a state of widespread panic and major traffic accidents throughout the regions (in CT, we would have a foot of snow and still have to go to school--the busses would just put the chains on their tires).

You've got to be freaking kidding me!! Snow?? No fair! :tantrum: I'm so sick of summer, it's not even funny. Of course, I don't know why I'm complaining since I'm always freezing now anyway, but like I always say, "you can always put more clothes on, but you can never get away with takin 'em all off!" I hope you'll enjoy your first snowfall of the year, and please be sure to clobber someone with a snowball in honor of all your sweltering, southern cyber-friends. ;)

WOW! Can't believe you've had snow already. I like snow, but not in any hurry for it to get here!
Currently it is 85 or so, may be hotter, but I don't care to know for sure. For Wisconsin, in early September, this is unusual. Not minding the heat this summer, maybe losing weight has made it more bearable.

Wow! Tomorrow it's going to be in the 90s here in Brooklyn, so I'm still on the sweltering end of the scale! Hard to even picture snow.

I'm sweating in Indiana....90's here. Although I'm not wishing for snow yet, I would like some nice low 60's and 70's. Snow in September....can't imagine.

There isn't snow in Vancouver, it's in Fernie, I was watching the news this morning and they were showing pictures. It's more snow than we get here in Vancouver ALL winter long (although I am from the area which the snow fell... ). Ahh, poor Fernie area!

I wish it was still summer-like, but we have that crisp cool feeling in the air already :( Our summer didn't even start until mid-july, so it was a short one! Someone send me some warm weather!

Snow--bite your tongue!! I detest snow. I dislike heat, too, though. Give me a beautiful sunny 71 degree day like today.

You gotta love the crazy canadian weather! Today in Mississauga is supposed to go up to 34 degrees (with the humidex). That is so weird that you mentioned Fernie. I know where that is, because I lived there on work term for school for four months. Lived there and worked at the Sparwood coal mine.

I don't even want to think of snow. I don't mind the cold so much just the wet inches upon inches of snow that we get. I hate how my shoes get soaked and my pants get soaked from walking around in it. I only like snow at Christmas. This past winter in Cleveland was miserable! I think it even snowed in May this year... I know April 1st was a terrible snow storm... BLAH! Give me some nice hoodie weather anyday!

Snow already? Sheesh it's still in the 90s here. In our area we haven't really had decent snow in almost 3 years.

:dizzy: Crazy. I live in "sort of central" Manitoba. It was 22 here yesterday, but the weather changes like mad. Sure has a bite to the wind these days. I too like 70's and sunny. I really don't like getting the kids all bundled up for school and dc. Yuck. I'm on vacation this week to get them off to school and houseclean  What a thing to do on vacation. Got to get organized. Also hoping to wean off "bad" carbs. All I wanted for brekkie was toast and PB. (not bad until you add the jam that I realy wanted and make the toast white  ) I lose control with toast and PB so I just had eggs and broccoli.

That's what I love best about Canada - the most unpredictable weather!!! I'd love to see a freak snow storm here now. The nights are cooling off well but as Carol said, it's still pretty hot during the day.

Sherri - I was born in Winnipeg, and used to spend my summers in The Pas at my Aunt's cabin on the lake... I remember Dauphin. I talked to my grandma yesterday and she was saying how hot it was in Winnipeg... I wish!

I almost wish for more steady weather, it's just so WEIRD here! Everyone calls people in BC wimps because when it snows the entire city can shut down... but it makes sense, people just don't need to buy winter tires for 4-5 days. I remember last year it was sorta snowy, it all melted in one day, and then froze that night, with a new layer of snow on top of it... to top THAT off, it started raining, so there was a layer of frozen slush, snow, and then rain. Ugh, it gives me nightmares remembering THAT commute to work!
