I am new to the Beach and I am having bad headaches. :?: Did anyone else experience this in phase 1? Maybe from detoxing from all the bad carbs and stuff. Any thoughts?
South Beach Diet - Headaches?View Full Version : Headaches? SCollins5501 09-08-2005, 11:51 PM I am new to the Beach and I am having bad headaches. :?: Did anyone else experience this in phase 1? Maybe from detoxing from all the bad carbs and stuff. Any thoughts? Marianna 09-09-2005, 01:01 AM Yeah... hugs to you.. I had the headache for about the first 4 days... I found that making sure I was keeping up my water intake really helped. Also, make sure that you are getting enough veggies... Some herbal teas to help with hydration and the headaches are chamomile and peppermint... I find them pretty helpful. Your body is having a huge detox and should be feeling great pretty soon. ellis 09-09-2005, 07:08 AM Stephanie, it's definitely the detox process. Many of us; myself included, experienced the headaches. They're a killer, but they WILL pass. Hang in there, hon! :grouphug: fl_mom 09-09-2005, 07:33 AM Hi Stephanie!!! Angela Sweet Tea 09-09-2005, 01:22 PM How are you feeling today??? the headaches do pass but they are annoying. Who could possibly be excited about giving up all those bad for you but oh so yummy foods? LOL H-ko 09-10-2005, 01:55 AM Welcome! I felt the same way for the first few days of phase 1. DH and I were both on it, and we really just bit each other's heads off for a few days! Poor DH! Poor DS, too - his mommy and daddy don't usually snap like that! It gets better though - a lot better, in fact. Now I don't even want most of that stuff any more, although I do miss some things once in a while. vBulletin® v3.6.7, Copyright ©2000-2012, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
