Default Help! Need Food Suggestions!

I am having my wisdom teeth removed Wednesday, and I need some good ideas of easy to eat foods to have on hand. I can think of chicken broth and yogurt, but any other ideas? I have a feeling I will need to eat soft foods a couple of days because my surgery is a little complicated. Any ideas Ladies? I appreciate your help greatly!

Okay, there was a discussion (kind of scary...) but not about foods to eat, more about how painful it was! Any suggestions?

There is a little information in this post http://www.3fatchicks.com/forum/show...t=wisdom+teeth from when amb_lyn had her wisdom teeth out. I am pretty sure there was a post with more information but I'm going to have to check.

Soups would work if you puree them so there are no pieces that might get stuck. I saw one post where Ruth also mentioned protein shakes.

Thanks for the ideas. I tried the chocolate milkshake this morning, and it will really help me out so that I don't find an excuse to eat ice cream.

Don't forget the Ziploc ice cream! http://www.3fatchicks.com/forum/showthread.php?t=41445

You could probably eat the ricotta cream desserts, too. And SF Jello. Lots of desserts!

Good luck w/ it!

Something my niece liked when she had hers pulled was popscicles...all different kinds, all different flavors! They make so many different flavors of sugar free ones now that you can have almost anything you want!
She also like chicken broth at a moderate temp and drank it with a straw!
They have low sodium types that may fit the bill! I really liked the idea of pureeing soup as you would get a lot of healthy nutrients that way!!
Good luck!!!
