Default tortillas

I was just wondering what the average points were for tortillas (wrap's). I know they vary by size but if i were to order a wrap at a deli- i assume that's a 8 inch wrap?

I use DWLZ.com whenever I eat out. The vast amount of information on her site is amazing and it is constantly being updated. Lots of great ideas as well. If you can't find your exact fast food restaurant then look for simular ones, I usually go to 3 and then take the average number of points. Hope this helps.

I have found a tortilla that is whole wheat at Wal-Mart, it huge, 80 calories, 3 grams of fat, 14 grams of fiber, comes out to 1 point.

DWLZ is good, but she only has chains (which makes sense) and the points she has listed for Au Bon Pain soups are totally, totally wrong - they are on average four points lower than they should be! So be careful and if you are able to verify her points calculations yourself, I would do it just to be sure.

Flour tortilla points vary widely depending on whether they are whole wheat or white, and what they are made from. A 6-inch flour tortilla is 2 points, a "burrito-size wheat flour tortilla (large)" is 2 points, a "LaTortilla Factory Burrito Size Flour Tortilla" is 3 points, and a 13-inch flour tortilla from Chipotle is 7 points!

If I get a deli-style wrap, I usually count 3 for the tortilla, just to be on the safe side.

Drop her an e-mail when you find errors. I can verify that when she first did the Au Bon Pain they were 100% accurate. It is when a place changes the items, recipes or nutritional info that causes it to be in accurate.

La Tortilla Factory ( www.latortillafactory.com I believe)

or Arizona Brand or Mission Brand both have a low carb one that is 1 point.

FYI don't look for 'large' ones these are about 7" across.

Ooooh, Ok. I was looking for 'large' ones. 7 inch one point tortillas would work, though. I could just have 2 :c)

Thanks, Kelly - you're a wealth of information.

Just remember if you eat 2 at 1 time they are 3 points and not 2.

The LaTortilla Factory tortillas that I get say Whole Wheat Low-Carb/Low-Fat Tortillas Large Size on the package. They say 95% Fat Free. 5 Net Carbs per tortilla.
