Cooking Hints & Miscellaneous Info - FF Sour Cream and FF Cream Cheese in Phase 1?

I keep seeing recipes with FF sour cream and FF cream cheese for phase one...is this really allowed? I made the choc breeze cups and they are to die for...but when i bought the kraft brand cream cheese, it said phase one and two on it (you know that kraft owns the south beach brand and when it stamps the south beach symbol on it, it puts the phases on it). Anybody know?

Yes, fat free or low fat dairy products are allowed. That is a major difference between SB and Atkins phase 1 and, imho, made SB phase 1 more enjoyable.

You may want to consider store branded products. Try them before going for the brand name products after comparing nutritional information.
