Pregnant - Nursing - Baby Carson is Here

After a week long hospitalization, Emergency C-Section and all around traumatic experience, Baby Carson is here. He's a premie, 3lbs 9 oz 16 in long. He will spend the next few weeks in the NICU, growing. He needs no artificial support, thank Goodness. So far all is well. As I gain strength and have more time, I will share the experience in detail. What I thought was going to be a routine BP check ended up in a rushed emergency transport to a Childrens Center... Life changing expereince!

My son was born 3 mo. ago. He was not a premie but did spend time in the NICU. It was awful being released without him so I understand how you must be feeling right now.

Hopefully Carson will grow like a champ and be home before you know it.

Congratulations on your baby - although it wasn't under ideal circumstances, at least he is healthy and will grow stronger very soon for you! Thank goodness you went for your checkup!
