Hello

Well I worked that soccer tournment yesterday and I'm about dead! My legs & feet are killing me! Just how I felt when I worked Fan Fair those 4 days! :( It's all about "out of shape" and being "over weight!" If I don't get into shape & lose weight NOW, I'll never be able to work the football games. SO......

Starting tomorrow I'm back to trying to get the weight off AND WALKING!!! Three laps around my block is a mile. I'm going to start off walking 1 lap for a few days then work up to a mile. I really need your support & motivation. I know I can do it...right?

Got to go...Have a great day & a wonderful weekend.

Love & hugs.........

07-16-2005, 03:30 PM
Sherry-You will be able to do it! I know you love to walk, and think about the time you will be giving yourself. Tomorrow is the beginning of the week, so it will be a good time to start. Pick the time of day that will be best for you so that you won't dread going out.

I am beat! I mowed our front circle with the push mower and did some weed eating. Some pieces fell off the weed eater, so I tried using the mower as a weed cutter. We are on 1 1/4 acres, and have a .10 mile driveway up to our house. Each side has a row of melaleucas on it. The neighbors always weed eat the one side, and we have to do the other. It hasn't been done in at least a year. It's such a mess. I am going to see if my parents will loan us the money to have someone come and do some work on the yard. I just can't stand it anymore. It looks like we are white trash! Our next door neighbors are putting their house up for sale, and I'm afraid they won't be able to get their asking price with ours the way it is. I think they are asking close to $900,000.00 for it. I just can't imagine anyone paying that price for it, but whatever! I am heading out to my parent's. See you later!

07-16-2005, 06:03 PM ( Sherry - I know you can do it! You sound so motivated and ready. We all will help as much as we can, we are all in the same boat and need to support each other.

07-16-2005, 06:07 PM
WOW! $900,000.000 for a house Shelley! The high end ones around here run $200,000.00! Sounds like you have your work cut out for you. We mowed today too... isn't it fun?? LOL! Maybe it will help to have someone come in and take care of the heavy duty work, then you will only have maintenance. GOOD LUCK! The weedeater sounds like our old one. We purchased a high dollar $300.00 stupid weedeater, best on the market...will last for years...the whole nine yards. After 2.5 seasons the dratted thing blew up! We are back using the $80.00 walmart special!!!

Sher, find you a good pair of shoes and some nice socks, grab a radio with earphones, have your watch and head out the door. Try walking 10 minutes away from your house, at 10 minutes turn around and head back home. By the time you reach your door, you will have a 20 minute walk! YIPPPEEE!!!! Try to stay at the same minutes for a week then each week increase your time by 5 minutes. If you take "baby steps" reaching your walking goals you will suceed so much more then if you try to over do things, then you will just get burned out. GOOD LUCK & I will be checking in Sunday to see how you did. You can come here and walk in the cemetary with me??? LOL!

Great Job Sherry!

07-18-2005, 02:21 AM
Thanks Gayle & Shelley! Gonna do it again tomorrow!! ;)

Gayle....I fixed your S/F F/F Butterscotch Pudding Dessert and it is sooooooooooo good!! Drew even ate some! And he hates EVERYTHING!

Goodnight!!! Sleep tight...Don't let the bed bugs bite! Love ya!

07-18-2005, 11:40 AM
Sherry I am so happy that you are walkiing again. You sound like your old self. I think that it brings up your spirts and you feel better about yorself. I am looking forward to seeing your daily progress.

Janice we went to Kenora and into the Lake of the Woods. Sherry's son was there last year. I believe it was in May and unusually cold then. We had a great time and picked half a pail of blue berries. I made pies yesterday. Yummy.

Shelley if your neighbors house asking price is that much just think of how much yours is worth. Yours may not be as pretty but it is still up there. The houses in my area sell for around $125,000-$200,000. Our city is known for one of the most reasonable citys in Canada for housing.

Gayle how is the scale doing this week? Have you moved off of your plateau? Just keep moving you will see results.

Now I have something important to share. I am so nervous. Remember when I asked you girls what you thought about a tummy tuck? Well I am seeing a surgeon today. I may have a hernia, where I thought my stomach muscle split. If it is a hernia it will be covered if not I pay. Chances are it is not a hernia. I am at a point in my life where I have lived with this since my pregnacy with Dez. So almost 20 years. I am still embarrassed of this even in front of Larry. I will get it done no matter what and am considering liposuction. It will be wonderful to get rid of this bottom roll I have that keeps me afloat when I swim! I would prefer a part tummy tuck instead of the full one because of scarring but we will see what the doc says. Larry asked me about a breast lift too. I am sagging from my pregnacies and nursing but not where it bothers me. Yes, I was perkier before but I can still go braless and not look like an old hag. I am a 36C, so I am hoping if I get this done that I shrink a size. Less for Larry to hold but it will be like he has a new women. There I told you all my big secrets for the day. I will let you know how it goes. Wish me luck, I am scared and send money too! I will needs lots of it. ;-)

07-18-2005, 01:57 PM
I wish you luck for sure. I always watch extreme makeovers on TV and would love to go on that show. I think a few days of discomfort will be worth so much in the way you feel about yourself.

07-18-2005, 02:39 PM
Am I the only chicken on this board? The thought of any type of surgery/procedure scares me to death. I guess I'm a wuss, but some of those people look like they are in so much pain with all the swelling etc. after the surgery.

Dee, I hope you get good news today!!!! Will you have any problem getting it okayed since you have heart problems? YEP! I am still at a plateau, but it is my fault...I nibbled too much over the weekend. Back OP today though!

07-18-2005, 08:00 PM
Dee-I'm so jealous!! I would love to have lipo on my thighs. I would also like a nose job, a face lift, a boob job--hey I guess I would like to be on Extreme Makeover too! Lucky you! Take before and after pictures!

07-18-2005, 08:38 PM
I'm jealous too Dee. I would love to have some things done. Heck, I'd just like to have my teeth whitened and my bifocals gone! I hope it all works out for you.

I've had bronchitis for almost a week now and I still feel like crap. The up side is that I'm so stuffy I can't taste a thing, so I haven't wanted to eat. If someone would come up with something to numb my sense of smell, I think I'd look like twiggy!

Nothing really new here. Just the same old 8 to 5, trying to pay the bills, and wishing my life away. Sometimes it is so hard watching my brother and Rick's brothers buying anything they want on a whim and building $500,000.00 dollar houses. Don't get me wrong, I love my house and really wouldn't want to live anywhere else. I just sure would like to have one month that I didn't have to juggle to make ends meet. Even so, I'd rather be in this position and working at a job I love than back in business for myself, making money, but hating the work. Okay, pity party over!

I'm going to head back to bed now, my Nyquil is kicking in.

Take care all....

07-19-2005, 12:51 AM
Ramona, so nice to hear from you. Please take care of yourself, ok? I wouldn't know how to act in a $500,000.00 home. I have struggled my entire life making ends meet, I don't know the difference. It does get frustrating though to work your butt off just to pay bills and other are spending money so freely. I hope things settle in were you can start posting here daily again, I miss hearing from you.

Dee, I hope the news you received today was good news!

Shelley, you are beautiful....forget the nose job, face lift etc. Your kind spirit just shines through and you are a truly lovely person.

07-19-2005, 08:52 AM
Dee- It will be so worth it. I had an operation a few years ago because my face would go red all the time. The doctor had to deflate my lungs and get into the nerves at my back. He cut the nerve that caused the redness. I was not really prepared for the pain in my lungs after - but it was worth every minute to not go red without a reason. I am So Vain. Doug thought I was nuts! I had my face lazered on time and looked like I'd gone a few rounds in the ring with Mohammed Ali. I once again didn't expect to look like that. I went to work the next day and scared the old folks, and I got sent home to heal. That was for spider veins on my face. I am so proud of you. You will feel so good about yourself after.
Sherry - How is the walking going? Our weather is so hot, I can't imaging walking outside.
Ramona - Don't feel bad I think most of us live month to month to pay the bills. Hang it there.
Gayle - I finally got my ticker to move again. It took me a while to get past the ice-cream set back.
Vicky - Hope you are okay.
Have a Great Day Everyone.

07-19-2005, 05:14 PM
Thanks for all the support. You gals are always there! Well I am having the surgery. The date is set for Aug 31. I am having a full tummy tuck and a breast lift. He is also doing lipo for free. Yipee! I didn't even ask about it. He said that he would do it here and there and here and My cup size will remain the same but the measurement around will be a couple of inches smaller. They remove my belly button and cut off the skin below and stretch the skin above the belly to the pubic area. They also will sew the muscle together the full length of my tummy. Which will give me a smaller waist, and hips. I am scared of what the scaring will look like but the doc said that he was hoping that it would be much better than my back surgery scar. I don't think that the scar is that bad. Before I left the nurse asked me to take off all my clothes so she could take pictures. It felt like I was the porn princess :smug: Because I am having both surgerys together(which the dr recomended) I will be saving $1350. My cost will be $8600. I actually thought that it would be between $10,000 and $12,000.

07-19-2005, 05:42 PM
I'm glad you received good news Dee! Are you excited????? How much smaller will your waist be? With lipo, do you also lose cellulite if you have any? I have heard of people losing substantial pounds just from that procedure. Also, Miss Curious here... do you get a new belly button??????? Last question for ya... are you gong to post pictures to us???? LOL!!!

07-19-2005, 05:50 PM
Hello

I took MIL to two doctors today. One at 8:30...1 at 10:30. It rained here so bad, I was soaked trying to get her on the walker inside her house.

I'm really happy for you.But...PLEASE don't me mad at me for saying this... I have tried so hard to keep my big mouth shut :tape: because I didn't want to be judged on my opinion. First, I'm worried about you! You are still having back pains and on medications. Isn't the doctor worried about you being put to sleep and going under the knife again so soon? Also, I watched a talk show about people having cosmetic surgery done and once they have the first thing done, they want more and can't stop. I'm worried that you'll be so happy with the results you'll want more & more done. Does this make sense? Are you well enough to do this? I'm afraid you'll have have so much pain & discomfort from the tummy tuck and with your existing pain from your back, it will be too much for you. Please say something to make me feel better about you doing this. I know you think I'm crazy but I'm really worried. :grouphug:

Ok everyone...tell me it's none of my busisness and to shut-up!

Shelley...I forgot to answer you: I go back to school on go back Aug.15th. I dread it!

Got to go to store & get Wayne at work.... Love to all......

07-19-2005, 06:46 PM
Sherry and Dee-I am so glad that Sherry voiced her opinion. I am thinking the same thing about your back. Please, please, please make sure the dr knows everything and how much pain you are in right now. I really envy the fact that you can have the procedure done, but I do think that you should think twice before doing it with all the pain you have been in for so long. I love you and don't want anything to happen to you!!

Gayle-You are so sweet!! Becky says thank you for the card. You are always so thoughtful.

07-19-2005, 08:02 PM
Dee, that is exciting and scary at the same time. You will be one hot momma when you are finished. Good luck!

My Daniel called me at 5:45 this morning practically in tears because he was in so much pain and so sick. I got him into the doctor and the preliminary diagnosis is Lyme Disease (tick fever). Every inch of his body is inflamed and hurting. He can't eat or sleep. I hope the medicine will start working quickly, but from what I've been told, it may be weeks before he feels better. I felt so sorry for him. He may be 22, but he's still my baby.

I've got to get ready to go to my niece's wedding shower. Talk to you later....

07-20-2005, 01:45 AM
Ramona, Dan is in my prayers. Does he have a rash or open sores? Years ago, I had a reaction much like his and the doctors thought it could be Lyme disease. Mine ended up being a form of Lupus. My blood cells were fighting against each other. They were able to treat it with Predisone. PLEASE watch after him and let the doctors know if there is any change. I will be thinking of both of you.

Dee, hopefully you will make the right decision regarding the surgery. I would make sure the surgeon knows all of your medical history and also please check on him too.

Sherry, your so sweet taking MIL to the doctor!!! I take my mom again tomorrow. I think we own half of the medical center!! LOL!

07-20-2005, 07:01 AM
I'm so excited, I couldn't sleep! I am going to test drive a Camry today! It has been 10 years since I've had a new car. Mike got a small raise, but it was enough to lease a new car for me. I won't get it until Friday or Saturday, once I pick it out.

07-20-2005, 08:38 AM
CONGRATULATIONS SHELLEY!! I just bought a new car last weekend. New to me anyway. I bought a Lumina.

07-20-2005, 09:57 AM
Congrats Shelley! I just love that "new car" feeling!!! Take a pic and send it to us of you & your new car!!!

Janice, congratulations to you too on a new car purchase! ENJOY!

07-20-2005, 04:57 PM
I'll be away from the board most of Thursday. Liz needs to be at the hospital at 8:00 in the morning and surgery is at 10:00. I'll let you guys know how things turn out.
Mom's appointment went well today. We will start tracking her weight, when there is an increase, we know she is accumilating fluid, I can then give her diuretics to cause her body to flush the excess fluid.

07-20-2005, 05:50 PM
Gayle I will light a candle for Liz on thursday and say prayers until I hear how she is doing. I am glad to hear that you r mom is doing better. Lol my little curious one! I would be the same. To answer your questions......thye cut out my belly button and move it up. The skin from my belly button up gets pulled down and the other stuff gets cut off. I will lose about one pound or a little more. I know I thought it would be a lot more. I do not have celullite. I will measure my waist and let you know how much of a difference it will make. I will have swelling for 4-6 weeks. If I get brave enough I will send you email pics of before and after only after the swelling goes down. The scars will fade with time.

Shelley wow a new car. What color is it? Did you decide to buy the one you test drove?

Janice you didn't share with us about your new car right away. We care, and are happy for you.

Ramona I as sorry to hear that Dan is not doing well. I hope that he has a speedy recover. My thoughts and prayers are with him.

Sherry thank you for your concerns and everyone else. I love you guys! How could I ever be mad at you? I was wondering the same thing but since no one mentioned anything I thought that I was being a wuss! I guess my concerns are legit. I will talk to my family doctor and see what he says. He only knows that I am going to see the surgeon about getting my tummy fixed. The surgeon knows what meds I am on and that my back is really bad. He also knows about my heart history. He didn't seem to concerned except he said that the recover will be a little slower.

Just so you know everyone, I decided I wanted the surgery because I figured if I am in pain, go for it, I might as well look good. The worst of it will be the first couple of weeks. After I get through that it will take a few months to fully recover when I can start to swim and do my normal activity which isn't much. I look at it this way. I am half over my life if not more, I might as well look good for as long as possible. I feel like all I have going for me right now is a pretty face. I am not good for much because of my health. I make supper and tidy the house when I can. After I exercise there isn't much more that I can do. So 1/2 the shelf life of my boobs are over so I might as well lift them Besides that I really hate the split muscle in my tummy. If I didn't have that I wouldn't consider the surgeries. I just feel deformed because of it.

Thanks for all the concerns.

07-20-2005, 07:35 PM
Dee-You are so funny! Just make sure the dr. knows everything.

Gayle-I will keep Liz in my prayers. Let us know as soon as you can.

I was going to get a black car, but the interior was the same color as the interior in my Saturn, so I am getting the Navy with grey interior at the insistance of Patty. They would only give us $300.00 for the Saturn, so we are keeping it. I'll probably pick it up Friday. It didn't drive as well as the Altima that I rented for the trip to Tampa, but that one is much more expensive with a V6 instead of V4, and we really can't afford to get the Nissan. I can't wait!

07-20-2005, 11:02 PM
Have fun with the new car Shelley! After you mentioned leasing, I did a search of buying vs. leasing a vehicle. I think we will probably lease now instead of purchasing after what I read about depreciation. Hopefully, one of these years, I can get a new car!!! Mine is a 1993.

I'm so mad I could just scream! I came home from swimming lessons and the air condioning unit was blowing hot air into the house (it's 103 here today) I called our peoples natural gas company (we have a $20.00 a month maintenence program with them) the lady told me it would be covered, but they now charge a $10.00 service fee, I said no problem...then she says it will be Monday before they can make it out. I tell her thank you, but I will call elsewhere because I have a daughter having surgery tomorrow and I need a comfortable house to bring her to, plus it is over 100 degrees here and they are predicting upwards of 106 degrees. She tells me to hold on and she will call in to the service guys to see if someone will come on out. After a while, she came back on the line and apologized, they still said no. I thanked her for trying to get someone out, she really tried. I have a problem with the service department. I don't mind paying $20.00 per month for maintenance, I don't mind paying $10.00 for a service call, but it pisses me off that it is so hot here and I can't get anyone out when I pay for the service. Even if it would of been a day wait, I could of handled it, but to just refuse, it urked me off to no end! We have an aquaintence who moonlights doing air conditioning work, he was able to repair it for me. Sorry, I just needed to rant!

07-21-2005, 06:24 AM
Gayle-Thank goodness you were able to get it repaired! I thought of sending Mike out to do it! He was in air conditioning repair before this new job. Did I tell you that I broke my MP3 when I ran in the ran the other day? It's no good now. $250.00 down the drain, and now I need music or I won't be able to make my long runs. Ugh! I still have one that is just 128mb, so I'll have to use that one until I can get a new one. I hate to go out and charge a new one when we are just going into more debt with this lease.

07-21-2005, 07:12 AM
Gayle - Thank goodness you had a friend to fix your A/C. That is much too hot!
I know what you mean about the service companies I think they are all the same. Just put you on the list.
I have been staying on Low Carb and doing well. I just forget to drink my water. I don't like water and I find it hard to make myself drink enough. Maybe should try sugar free jello shooters that everyone was talking about!

07-21-2005, 08:51 AM
Hello from the lurker..

I am alive and well. Still having trouble with my Dad passing, but each day gets better.

Wow... tummy tuck & boob job. wonderful Dee. I need an all over job!!! LOL

I am going under the knife though. Next week I am having ankle replacement surgery for my left ankle. If all goes well, next year I will have the right one done. I am very apprehensive, but if I don't do this now, I will be in a wheelchair before long.

Gayle: My thoughts and prayers are with Liz today. Also, I am glad to hear that your Mom is doing well. She is lucky to have such a wonderful daughter as you!!

Janice: Sounds like your doing a great job staying OP. Keep up the good work. Congrats on the new vehicle!!! Isn't it great!!

Sherry: Walking... I dream of being able to walk again... Don't get too overheated though... this humidity and heat are awful!! How is your MIL? Your a great daughter-in-law to take her to her appointments!

Shelley: I am glad you are finally able to get a new vehicle. You have been having problems for some time with that old one. Enjoy!!!

Ramona: How is Dan today? He must feel pretty bad. Our children are always our matter how old they get!!! BTW... I live month to month.. I only get paid once a month.. now that gets rough some times!! With my surgery I have to be off work 4 weeks, so it will really be hard to get by without that income. Hang in there girl!!

I have to go for now, but will try to do more than lurk in the future.

Love you gals!!

07-21-2005, 03:40 PM
Hello

I've been lazy today because I have to work tonight. I layed out in the pool for awhile. I'm working the "Weezer" concert tonight. Rap is NOT my thing so it doesn't excited me!

So good to see everyone posting!! Now if we can get back all the other lurkers and get them to start posting again, we'll be in good shape.

I was going to post to everyone but a friend just got here to visit. This will be quick!

Carol...So happy to see a post from you!!! Did you get the reply from that email I sent you? An old teacher (not married) who retired at my school has an email so simular to yours. That's why I asked who that man was!! I hope to see a post again SOON!!! Missed you!!!

Congrats to Janice & Shelley on the new cars!!!!! Mine is almost 2 months old now but I STILL love it!!!!!!! :D

Gayle....How is Liz????? She's been on my mind all day!

Dee...I feel better now about what you explained. YOU GO GIRL!!!! LOVE YA!!!

Gotta talk to my company then get ready to work. Hope I can hear when I leave there tonight!!!!! :fr:

07-21-2005, 06:57 PM
Gayle how is Liz, my candle is still burning for your girl. I am going to have to blow it out soon because we are going out for dinner at friends but she will still be on my mind.

Sherry you sweetie you. I know you love me because of your concern. Heck I think that you all love me because you were all concerned. I phone my family doc today and will see him Aug 5th. I am not one for rap, either. At least you get to make good money.

Carol nice to see that you posted. I often wondered how you are doing. You are in my prayers, I know that this must be a difficult time for you.

Ramona how is Dan feeling? Has he improved a little? You know that he is in my prayers too. No wonder that I can't get out of bed for long, my prayers are keeping me in bed.

Shelley your car sounds really nice. We drive a 94 Interepid. It is fully loaded but old. We maybe getting another one through Larry's work. He is going to ask for a car allowance.

Gotta run and make myself pretty for our dinner out with friends.

07-21-2005, 10:39 PM
Dan is feeling a little better today. I guess the Doxycyline is starting to work. Thank you all for you prayers and your concern. I had to leave work yesterday because I was feeling so much worse. I came home and slept for 8 hours, woke up, took more medicine and slept 6 more hours. I do feel better today, but I can still hardly talk and still have a bad cough. The only good thing is that I've lost 6 pounds. I can't taste a thing, so I haven't wanted to eat!

Carol and Dee, good luck with your surgeries. Gayle, I hope Liz did well and I hope your air conditioning is working!

Shelley and Janice, congrats on the new cars! I just paid mine off in May and now it is beginning to fall apart. Doesn't that just figure!?

I hope you all have a good evening and I hope Sherry has her ear plugs!!!

07-21-2005, 11:35 PM
Thank you all for the well wishes and prayers. I am back home with our "little zombie" She is on a heavy duty narcotic for the pain plus antibiotics and some type of topical throat gel. Basically she wakes up every so often, nibbles on an ice chip or two, then falls back to sleep for another hour. The pain med is prescribed for every 3-4 hours, I am going to keep giving it to her for the next few days every 3 hours. She did really well through all of it until she found out she would have a tube in her throat and would be on a respirator for awhile. They gave her something to relax her about 20 minutes before surgery, so by the time they wheeled her out, she was feeeeeellllliiinnnngggg goooooood! I told her you guys were thinking of her and she said thank you very much, she appreciates the kind gesture.

Carol, keep us updated with your surgery...will you be taking therapy? I know it will hurt, but hopefully in the long run this will give you some peace.

Ramona, I'm glad to hear Dan is better today. YOU NEED TO TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF GIRLIE! Go see the doctor again and tell him you can't seem to get over this nasty stuff. LOVE YOU!

Dee, thank you so much for lighting the candle today. Every prayer and every thought adds up. I hope you enjoyed your night out. What did you have for your meal?

Shelley, I am so excited for you, I just know you will LOVE your new car! Yes, I thought of Mike when I had A/C problems! it is just so hot here, 103 today~~ our unit isn't big enough for our house since we have no shade trees around. It has ran continuous today, it is almost 10:00 here tonight and it is still going. I have a few fans running along with the ceiling fans trying to move the air around.

Well, better go check on zombie girl again.

07-22-2005, 07:35 AM
Ramona-I am glad that Dan is feeling a bit better today. Hopefully everyday he will. I keep praying for him.

Carol-What is involved in an ankle replacement? It sounds very complicated. I am so sorry that you have to go through it. Just think, when you're done with both maybe you will be able to start your walking again.

Gayle-I hope Liz is doing okay today. It's early yet, so I'm sure she's still sleeping. At least you have some cool air for her to be in.

Dee-How was the dinner out?

Janice-It's good that you have found a plan that works for you.

Vicki-Where are you, girl?? You said that you were going to post regularly!

Doni and Jennelle-I miss you both!

Sherry-I hope you wear your clicker on the job, because I'm sure you are walking up a storm serving those people!

Got my car and love it!! No smoking, eating, and wipe your feet before entering!!

07-22-2005, 06:52 PM
Shelley I am happy that you got your new car. You deserve it. There sure is quite a few of us out there with a new car this year.

Gayle I am happy that Liz is resting and did ok through the surgery. Now to recover. How was she this afternoon? Sometimes just knowing that there are pople out there praying gives us peace. I am glad that you told her. By the way I still have my angel sitting in front of my monitor. She brings a smile to my face all the time. I think of you when I see her.

Carol sorry that I didn't mention your surgery. I hope that all goes well and that you are able to walk without pain.

Ramona it is good to hear that Dan is doing better. Now you need to get some rest and take care of yourself.

Sherry how did you make out at the concert last night? I bet you that you are beat! Spend a few of those hard earn dollars on yourself.

Dinner was fabulous last night. We had bbq ribs, ceasar salad, pasta salad, hot bread and my friends most famous apple pie. (how about it.....I had all the calories accounted for and am not even in the red)We had a wonderful time. We were so full that we went out for a 5 mile walk afterwards. This girlfriend of mine is one of the girls I walked with. Sad part about it is my friends are all working now so I have no one to walk with in the morning.

This weekend is going to busy. Tonight we are going to the country to visit our god child for his first birthday. After that we are going to mom and dad's for a visit. My 16 year old niece is still here. Her family went home on thursday. They are letting her fly home by herself on sunday.
Saturday we are having friends over for a steak bbq and swim.
Sunday we are going to the beach and then Dez is having us over for dinner.
I better swim lots so I don't put on any weight.

Hope you all have a good weekend.

Vickster, take care, I remember the fall because that is when your family made a horrible comment to you about your weight. I hope your feeling better now and please do remember you are a special person, in control of your life and no one is going to get you down by controlling you with hurtful comments.

Sorry for not posting much and I promise girls, I will be back at the exercise thread soon. Liz hurt pretty bad yesterday, I hope today is better. Even without a clock around, there is a 15 minute range when she starts asking for her meds because the pain is really starting in. I'm dreading today, it seems like day 3 with most anything is the worse. Hopefully she will be feeling better soon!

I hope life is treating everyone well! We are still having A/C problems...idiots can't just come fix the problem, they come out, change a wire, then go away...1 hour later it's blowing hot air again. I think we have a compresser problem or we need charged, but of course they never want to hear what a woman is saying. LOL! Going to be 104 here today!

Gayle that is hot. I really hope that you get the air fixed. I hope that day three for Liz will be better than you expected.

Vicki I hope that you feel better soon. Sometimes when we post something it gets lost in the shuffle of all the posts. I do remember your post. All the best. Hugs.

Sherry where did you go? Did that rap band take you on tour?

Gtg, hope all is well.
