I had a total pigout last night. Ironically, I made it through two days of BBQs without going over my points, except for a few flex points. But then last night I ate everything in sight. But I'm not here to complain. It happened, it's over. On to bigger and better things. But I do want some advice. I'm going to figure that last night used up all my flex points plus some (yeah, it was THAT bad). So I figured if I stick to 22-point days Wed, Thu and Fri, I'll eat the same amount of points that I would have if I had done my regular 30 a day plus the flex points. Does that make sense? Or should I just eat my regular 30 a day and take what I'm sure would be a gain? Suggestions anyone?

Eat your TPs always. Never below. If you exceed your FPs you can minimize any bad results by eating your TPs and any APs you earn if you need to.

i think I agree with Kelly.

You have to stay with the 30 a day, but try to make really healthy choices within that point range, loads of fruits and veggies, no processes crap!

I had the same problem last night I did great Sunday and Monday but last night I ate 20 points within a hour. So I usually eat 24 points a day and I took away 3 points for the next couple days, plus I will work out for 30 min, high inten. and not count them. But I know people say stick with your points but I do go under and exercise to make up for my binge so that on the weekend i can have my flex 35.
My personal option though,
Remember this - I read it today I wish I had it last night personally.

Stacy by doing that it may eventually backfire and really mess up your metabolism. But then again if it is working for you that is your option.

I've done some more thinking on this, and this is how I feel now. With flex points, I'm supposed to be eating up to 245 points a week. Adding together all that I've eaten so far, that's 159 points. 159 from 245 is 86. I have three days left til weigh-in, so 86 divided by 3 is 28. If I do three 28-point days, it would even out to what I what eat in a week of following the plan to the letter and adding in all the flex points. It's sort of like the Wendie plan, but not spaced out as evenly. I wouldn't do less than my 30 points on a regular basis, but I don't think that skipping 2 a day for three days will hurt, especially since I had a couple of really high-point days! Over the course of the week, it evens out.
