100 lb. Club - Weekly Weigh In July 4 - 11/05View Full Version : Weekly Weigh In July 4 - 11/05 Jenaya 07-04-2005, 12:27 PM I thought I would start the new week. I am down three after my whopping gain last week. Glad to have the numbers going down again! unheardkoala 07-04-2005, 12:54 PM I made the mistake of taking a week off, as we had a couple of weddings, some dinners out, and just toooo much stuff going on. In that week I gained 3 lbs back. So now it's back on the bandwagon and no more over eating or junk food. and back to the gym.... BethC 07-05-2005, 07:42 AM I lost 2#s this week!! I've been able to do more cardio, so I hope that's making the difference on the scale! Have a great week everyone! Jen415 07-05-2005, 08:43 AM I had a nice loss this week--five pounds! And this was even with the TOM issues! Contrats to all the other "Losers!" lessofsarahtolove 07-05-2005, 10:16 AM Congratulations all you losers!! Unheardkoala, I'm sure at least some of that's water! Great job on deciding to nip it in the bud and resuming your healthy habits. :) I didn't lose anything, despite an overall average of 1620 very healthy calories, drinking an average of 130 oz. of water daily, and exercising 4 days. I was worried that this might happen -- I've heard a lot of stories of people having a really hard time losing their chemo weight. I'm really disappointed, but NOT SWAYED. I'm eating well and exercising not just to lose weight, but to have a healthy body also. I'm sure the weight will come off eventually. :crossed: Right?? So I'll just keep on keeping on, and at some point my body will realize that it's cells are no longer in danger, relax, and begin to give up the weight. And in the meantime, I'll be giving it the gifts of great nutrition and exercise. Charbar 07-05-2005, 11:15 AM You guys are doing awesome.. AWESOME. It's summertime.. party time.. and you gals are losing weight! Way to go! Sarah.. you are so positive! so dedicated - way to go - keep your chin up girlie. me? don't even ask!!!!! plus my battery is dead on my scale - and I'm okay with that! It appears that breast feeding is almost done.. I probably bf about only 10-30% of the time now :( I was pretty depressed about it. It's a long story as to why - but I'm coming to terms with it. Sea 07-05-2005, 12:13 PM I think the last time I logged my weight was three weeks ago. I'm down 2 and a half pounds since then. I haven't had a lot of computer time. I really see the difference. I am more strict with my self, and thus loose more, when I have 3FC accountability. Thanks everyone. DishyFishy 07-05-2005, 01:12 PM Well done to all those who are shrinking! :bravo: My scale reported no change this morning. I've been OP (though short on exercise, I'll admit), so I'm not at all concerned about it. I've just got to keep plugging away. treefrogtoes 07-05-2005, 01:30 PM Down 2 pounds this week, even after a camping weekend away! Congrats everyone! howie6267 07-05-2005, 02:49 PM Good job all you losers. Sarah I'm sure the pounds will start melting away for you. Like you said even if nothing happens for a while you are giving your body the gift of health. How is Lorraine doing with her new plan? I hope all is well and tell her I said hi. kykaree 07-05-2005, 02:58 PM Toofatfish and Sarah, I am in the same scale not shifting boat. I have named it SSS, sticky scale syndrome, when you do all the right things, but the scales won't budge. Never mind, keep on keeping on and hopefully we will see a change next week. puff0518 07-05-2005, 03:05 PM I am down 1.75 from last week. However, it seems like I am gaining and losing the same five pounds or so. I'm stuck again. I can't even say I've hit a plateau -- This is the same five pounds or so that I've been losing and gaining back since I started!! I just get going good, and something happens and I fall off track... Oh, well. I guess I just need to get back on track again. I've done fairly well today. I've been on-plan with food, and am working on the water. As long as it doesn't rain, I'll get my exercise in for sure (6-year-old daughter loves mom to swim with her). DishyFishy 07-05-2005, 04:35 PM Right on, kykaree! :high: ( I sound like a hippy throwback from the sixties! Umm... no offence to anyone here who fits that description! ;)) With patience and determination we'll absolutely crack this "getting into shape" malarky. In the past, staying the same weight--even for just one week--would have been sufficient for me to throw in the towel. Not any longer though. The 2 stone I've got rid of so far has left me feeling better than I have in years. Imagine how I'll feel after another 5½! :dancer: I'm looking forward to it so much that nothing is going to knock me off track. Gardenwife 07-05-2005, 04:55 PM I never posted Friday last week, so I'll put it here: Lost 3 pounds and am down to 214. We switched to my MIL's scale, and it is a pound off from the doctor's office has been weighing, but either way I lost weight. Howie and I were not OP this holiday weekend, so we're reluctant to weigh-in on Friday. We need to, though. barbygirl43 07-05-2005, 05:18 PM congrats to all the losers this week. :bravo: For everyone else so stayed the course with no loss, it's probably just storing up for a big loss for next week. hautbois 07-06-2005, 01:40 PM At my OB appt I found out that I've only gained 1 lb after 4.5 months of pregnancy (baby is growing just fine too)! I know women also due in November who have gain 15+ pounds already, so I'm happy! DishyFishy 07-06-2005, 01:44 PM That's great news, Donna! :bravo: alphabetsoup 07-06-2005, 02:41 PM Everyone is doing great!! I lost 4 pounds - I was shocked. Down 9 pounds total for me so I'm really happy. :) synger 07-06-2005, 03:13 PM Well, it's no real surprise that I'm up 6 pounds this week after my week-long vacation. :( Too much fudge and chips-n-dip and cookies. But lots of water and sand and fun. And no internet, so I actually slept more than 6 hours each night. Is this what it feels like not to be sleep-deprived? What a concept! Gardenwife 07-07-2005, 12:52 AM Vacations are killer sometimes. We've had two weekends of over-indulgence, so we've braced ourselves for gains. famograham 07-07-2005, 02:58 PM It's Thursday again! After a 3.8 pound loss last week I am down .2 of a pound... I have however, stayed on plan this week and done really well for calories and water...so I'm not concerned at all, as last weeks loss was good enough for two weeks! I'm going to call it a maintain for this week because tickers don't measure in .2's :) So down from 209.0 to 208.8..but calling it a maintain ;) Linda howie6267 07-07-2005, 07:14 PM Well I'm up 2 lbs. Not a surprise after last weekends splurges. We weighed in a day early because we had our treat meal today. Our friends 3rd adoption was final today and we all went out to luch. So back at it tomorrow. ~~Sunshine~~ 07-08-2005, 11:53 AM I am down 1 pd this week! Actually 5 pds because I went up 4 pds last week! So that is good I guess! Man it is amazing what one week of no exercise does! Gardenwife 07-08-2005, 04:18 PM I'm up to 216, two pounds gain. Like Howie said, no big surprise. Back on track now. It scares us both how easy it is to let treat day turn into treat weekend, and then two weekends. We're going to lay off treat days for a while, we think. Maybe just do one a month, when we get together with our friends. Well, sigh, off to update my ticker in the wrong direction. LOL! taekwondomom 07-10-2005, 11:57 PM Burned away 2 more pounds of fat this week; 263 to 261.:D Looking at a new decade sometime in the next week or two... Too bad I'm too exhausted from work to celebrate! Sweetloml 07-11-2005, 01:42 AM 195 lbs today ( down 4 lbs this week) Been excerising a lot and been having green tea, water and eating very heathly this week other than Sunday. I notice I am not as hungry as I was but been making sure I am have small meal all day long and not over eating. Sunday I was so lazy and, kind of ate a few things I should have not. I am sure it won't be like this next week and even out. Happy to start showing some weight going but still have a ways to go vBulletin® v3.6.7, Copyright ©2000-2010, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
