Shelley I am here. You know I wouldn't let you down. Just to lazy to post but I have been at it.
Gayle wow that is quite a work out with your push lawn mower. You burned a lot of calories doing that.
07-05-2005, 05:29 PM
Gayle-I did my lawn the other day with a push mower, but it goes on it's own. Is all I worked out was my hands (moving it backwards when I needed to get out of mud.)
07-06-2005, 12:08 AM
July 5: 30 minutes walking
Yep, the push mower is a workout. We sit on 2 acres and half of that needs mowed. I bag most of it too. Shelley, are you guys still having the rain? We have had storms every night for the past week.
Dee, nice to see ya!
07-06-2005, 12:40 PM
Gayle-No storms, but Dennis might be headed our way!
Dee-There was never a doubt in my mind that you would be here!
07-06-2005, 04:09 PM
Shelley lol you know me pretty well. Do or die I am still pushing it. Pretty scarey to think that Denis might be heading your way.
Gayle you are so committed. I am happy that you are back in the grove.

That is neat Gayle. It will encourage you to keep going.
More miles to enter when I get back from the pool today.
07-08-2005, 10:50 AM
Had to make my 40 for the week. Looks like the weather will be too nasty tomorrow to run.
Gayle-That's great! I'm going to look that up and see what it's about.
Hey Dee! Have fun!

Gayle.....I'm starting my walks again tomorrow (Sunday). Can you PM me the info about Walk Across America?? Thanks!! :D
07-16-2005, 05:51 PM
No problem Sherry poo! I will PM you right away!!!!
07-16-2005, 08:03 PM
Cool Sherry--join us over there.
Gayle-I don't quite understand the state goal thing. They don't really have true amount of miles for the state. Do they just come up with an arbitrary goal?
07-17-2005, 01:41 AM
I noticed that too Shelley. Kansas is roughly 500 miles and the site set my goal at 286 miles. I looked tonight and I am 5.6% to goal and if I keep up at the rate I'm going, I will reach my goal 1/18/16!!! I better get to moving! BTW: I'm not really impressed with the HW site...I thought there would be more interaction among the members.
07-17-2005, 11:15 AM
Gayle-I noticed your post on the message board. I haven't posted there because of the same reason. It seems your only response was from the owner of the site. I don't really think it is all that great either, but I really like having a goal to try and reach. Last year I did the virtual Appalachian Trail on www.coolrunning.com, but they didn't do it this year.
07-17-2005, 11:20 AM
Whoops! My addition was off.
07-17-2005, 12:59 PM
I noticed our very own little Sherry-poo joined the HW site!!!! I really like the setup of the site, I'm just disapointed no one seems to post. I noticed the owner has tried to start new topics like food, music etc. with hardly any response. Sad huh?
07-17-2005, 03:22 PM
Duh! I just figured out that I had to go into the email to find Sherry's name. I was looking all over the place. Isn't it cool that all 3 of us were welcomed at the same time?
07-17-2005, 05:50 PM
Walked around the block once AND push mowed for 2 hours!!
07-17-2005, 05:52 PM
Please Go To July #2
