Is it normal to eat a non SBD meal and it cause 3 pounds to come back in one day???? Well that is what happened to me...I dont understand it, I have no excuse for my actions but had no idea it would do this much damage or I would have never allowed it to happen. I am back on phase 2 today but wondered...should I go phase one again or not?? Thanks ladies ;)

Depends. What did you eat and how long have you been on Phase II?

I have only been on phase 2 for about 3 days now...and I ate fried catfish and dressing and hushpuppies, and a 1/2 slice real cocconut pie

Christian, I'm no expert on SBD, but I would go back to PH1 if it were me if the scale doesn't move south in the next day... looks like alot of sugar, white flour, and bad fats were consumed... :( ...

Thanks Schatzi...I figured that would be the case, I did phase 2 today so if the scale is still up I will start fresh tommorow

Don't forget the sodium. A few weeks ago I had a late dinner of chinese food, and the next day the scale was up 3 pounds. It did go back down the next day though.

If you've only been on phase II for less than a week and really wanted that meal, you could have forgone the hushpuppies for a salad. Also, the rich dessert could trigger the sugar cravings that you worked so hard to dispel in phase I.

I would recommend saving the "blowout" meals like you mentioned to special occasions like 4th of July.

More good news..... Back down 2 1/2 pounds FINALLY!! now I only have 1/2 pound to hit the weight I was before the meal...and boy did I ever learn a lesson

I said I had no excuse for what I did and this isnt one but the resteraunt we went too is one that my grandmother has taken me to for the last 10 years every year...well it is shutting down July the 3rd and I loved their dressing and pie...I knew I would never get it again and ate it....wrong move I know but in a way I will never forget it either ;)
