Default Insulin Resistance obesity and leg blisters

I've noticed recently that I have been getting blisters on my shins (and I don't remember any specific injury to account for them).

My husband has dermatitis associated with his diabetes, and these are very similar (only smaller, fewer, and not as inflamed - but I don't scratch them like he does). I was wondering if insulin resistance could cause the same skin conditions as diabetes. Anyone know?

Insulin resistance is a precurser to diabetes, so you should probably see your doctor about it. I don't know about all of the symptoms, but skin tags for one is common in both, so this could be too. I hope all is ok!
