Well done, everyone!

I've been on and off the scales a dozen times this morning checking and rechecking that the 221 pounds it shows is spot on! And it is! :D The 4 pound drop means I've achieved my first short-term goal with a week to spare. :goodscale: Excuse me whilst I celebrate a little.... :woo: :dancer: :twirly: :spin:

Whew! Okay, enough of that. Now on to the End of Summer Challenge.

I'm not too sure what I'm down this week, but I'll err on the side of caution to avoid dissappointment. The first time I weighed myself on my new scale today it said 211.4 and then it said 212.8 so I'm going to say down one pound to 212....does everyone think that's the way to go?

As you know, I'm dealing with a new digital scale....so what do you think?

xoxo

I'm not sure whether we'll get a chance to weigh in tomorrow at the doctor's, so I weighed on my MIL's scale this morning. It weighs either 1 pound over or 1 pound under the doctor's scale, I forget which...But either way, I've lost. It said I was 215, and last week at the doctor's I'd maintained at 219. So, I either weigh 214 or 216 today, and I'll gladly take either of those numbers!

Tried on a pair of size 18 jeans last night and they fit perfectly. I don't think I've worn 18's since 1993. I can't wait to slip into some 16's and 14's! When I feel like things aren't going well sometimes, I need to put on my old size 26 pair.

216lb which I'm very pleased with. At the beginning of May I decided I wanted to be 220lb by the time I got on holiday tomorrow, so I'm thrilled! And the big 210 and 199 targets are getting ever closer too :)

Hey, YP1, we could probably share clothes if you're anywhere near 5'9", LOL!

Yes, I am. It's a long way to pop round to share though!

I'm also in shock. I weighed in at the gym this morning and was down to 214! I'm in two minds about whether to count it or not, but as I'm not weighing in for another 10-12 days while I'm on holiday, and to give myself a confidence boost before I go, I think I'll take it.

It just means that when I come back I might have put 2lb more on than I would have done otherwise :(

I was down 15 lbs Tuesday. Its a fun way to lose weight if you like babies ;)
I'm at 50 lbs total now! :D Its nice to be able to post losses and not feel guilty. I was trying to maintain for the baby. She was 8-7 so did just fine.

I like babies but have had 3 and that is enough for me, at least for the time being. Never know-might change my mind in a year or two. ;)
With my last two pregnancies I maintained my weight too. With both I stayed right around 270-280 and my docs were not concerned in the least. As long as they were sure baby was growing well, they said I could have been losing weight and they wouldn't have worried. (BTW, Baby 2 (Ariana) was 7-3, baby 3 (Ewan) was 10-1!)
Of course, after the babies were born I managed to gain the 10-15 lbs back that I lost after having them. :p

Weighed in today. Maintained at 265, not surprised by that as I dropped 7lbs last week. I had hoped to be down at least 1 lb. Next week then.

Laura, think of it more as a two week reduction of 7 pounds. That's a great loss by anyone's standards. :high:
