Exercise! - Socks?

I did 45 minutes on the treadmill today and my socks rubbed blisters into my feet. Does anyone have a recommended brand they could suggest to me?

Look for socks with wicking material such as "Cool Max", though there are others. Some brands I like include BalGal, Wright, Wigums DeFeet. Check out oyur local running or bike shop. They will make a huge difference, once you get past the sticker shock ($8-$12 a pair at my local running shop). Check out bike and running races expos. At the last bike race I went to (as an observer) one of the tents had socks 6 pairs for $20 - theywere overstocks that were specially printed for specific events. Mine today are "Ride for the Cure" from Sept 11, 2004 from Aspen, and I was nowhere near, but I got the socks! Good luck.

Another brand is Thorlos, which I found at the Foot Locker.

I actually like Smartwools. They come in different styles and weights. I've been able to get them on sale, but they're still pricey. I got mine at REI.
