Is there any difference in the ground turkey you get in the meat section and the frozen ground turkey??
I know the frozen turkey is 15% fat, not sure of the fresh turkey.
Help Please ladies!!! ;)

Wenchy, the packaged frozen might have some additives, where I would assume (though not sure) that fresh would be free of those additives. You'd have to look at ingredients to be sure, or check with your butcher. :dunno:

Remember that ground turkey and ground chicken usually are not all white meat so may not be strictly OP.

I get ground turkey at it is 93% lean, like the beef I usually get, but I buy it fresh. It was 2 for 1 at the store in comparison to the ground beef (Because it was on sale)
