Good Morning everyone...just wanted to get the thread going :)

I stayed the same this week, but since I celebrated my birthday 3 days in a row last week, I must say I'm pretty happy. Good thing birthdays only come around once a year!

Have a good week everyone.

06-06-2005, 10:01 AM
Well, the scale was down today ~ I didn't weigh last week, so this isn't all in one week (3 lbs), but I'll take it.

06-06-2005, 10:59 AM
Gratz on the loss Gayle, 3 lbs in 2 weeks is wonderful.
Beth - that's a good attitude, I hope you had a nice birthday:)

I haven't been around very much on the boards, but i've been sticking to my plan and this week I"m down 2 lbs. :D

Good luck everyone for the coming week.

I've been good with my food and beverage, but lacking in movement this week. I had been feeling that "tight in the hands and feet" feeling from swolleness, so I figured I might have a couple pounds of water loss, too.

Down 6 pounds from 295 to 289.

06-06-2005, 11:59 AM
Congrats all!

I'm down 3 pounds this week!

At a total loss so far of 60!

06-06-2005, 12:03 PM
I am down 1 pound this week.

06-06-2005, 07:53 PM
Down 2lbs for the past week

06-06-2005, 09:08 PM
You guys are all LOSERS!!! :) WTG!

I will post mine on Friday!

06-06-2005, 09:21 PM
Good job everyone.

06-07-2005, 02:19 AM
(oops. Had to move this from last week's thread since today was my weigh-in day)

Argh. I was so good this week and no movement for today. I saw the scale pro/con thread and here's one reason why I weigh every day-- I was down 2.5 pounds on Saturday and was well within my calories since then and exercised Saturday and Sunday. So the scale is a fickle thing!

The way I chose to look at it is that the loss will just show up in next week's numbers. My clothes absolutely feel looser, so I won't be deterred!!!

Congrats to everyone else, you're doing great!

06-07-2005, 09:41 AM
Good Job everyone!! I hope to join you all in the loss column this week!

06-07-2005, 11:35 AM
Right attitude, Cecily! :cp:

:cheer: Good work, everybody! :cheer:

Keeping on track. Down 4 lbs. this week. 1/3 to goal!!! :ebike: If I don't exercise, my weight goes straight up, but when I keep at it intense, :tread: I am moving the right direction.

06-07-2005, 01:31 PM
Well done, everyone! :high:

Good to see you're not setting too much store in what the scale says, Cecily. It doesn't tell the whole story.

I'm down another 2 pounds this week. :)

06-08-2005, 12:41 AM
I've lost 6 pounds since last Tuesday. Tuesday 5/31, I weighed 197.5. This morning, I weighed in at 191.5. *yea* I am so going to hit 160 before I know it:D Good luck to you guys too!

06-08-2005, 02:01 AM

06-08-2005, 12:14 PM

06-10-2005, 10:35 AM
Wow, everyone is doing so well -- maintaining or losing or gaining only a little. What an inspiration!

06-10-2005, 11:18 AM
Good job everyone. My fast food blunder has caused me to gain 4 this week. I'm sure some is water from all that salt but it's still 4 lbs. It will come off by next week though so no big thing. Just back at it and determined to go all the way.

06-10-2005, 11:45 AM
Howie, I have a gain to report as well today...up 1.5 lbs :( . I am bound and determined to get back on track and lose those darn 1.5 lbs and more by next weigh in!!!

06-10-2005, 04:12 PM
I lost too. I will offically take Friday on as my weigh in day. At the gym today (no scale in my home - on purpose) . . I was just hoping for -1 . . . but, since my weigh in with the trainer (267lbs) their scale said 262 this am. So, since I started the program, I have lost 4lbs (from 266) confusing but, so happy. On paper I have lost 4 for this group; but in my own digtal index . . down 5. . . wow wee . . . I love this . . . let me change my sig . . . J

06-10-2005, 04:22 PM
I gained 1 lb this week, but I'm OK with that because it's TOM. Usually, with TOM, I gain 2-3 lbs. 1 lb is a good thing!

06-10-2005, 05:29 PM
Since my lovely wife made a mistake and posted on last weeks weigh in thread I will take this moment to brag on her here. She lost another 2 lbs for a total of 58. She made her goal of being below her wedding weight of 220. You doing great babe and I'm proud of you.

06-10-2005, 05:43 PM
Down 2 more pds!! Woohoo!! So far 37 pds in a little over 2 months!

06-10-2005, 08:36 PM
I accidently posted this on the previous week's thread. Deja vu all over again...LOL

I'm in a new decade, too! I weighed 219! Happy happy, joy joy! We then stopped for our weekly Egg McMuffin goodness. Happy happy, joy joy! Err, well, it was really good.

Oh, and...a question...If you order a large black coffee and get home to find you've actually been given a large French vanilla cappucino, the calories and fat do not count, right? ;) Hope not, 'cause I sure didn't dump that baby down the drain just now.

It's treat day for us, so I guess it was serendipitous.

06-11-2005, 04:50 PM
I weighed myself Friday and I'm 2 more down. I had to get on and then get off again just to see if it was right. I still have so long to go, but for now I'll be happy with the 2 Woooooooooooooo Hoooooooooooo.

Gardenwife- Sorry to say this but Yes it counts. Yeah just chalk it up to fate.

Sunshine- What's your plan (WW, calorie counting) **** I want to lose 37lbs in two months too :tantrum:. Do tell.

06-12-2005, 12:21 AM
Sunshine- What's your plan (WW, calorie counting) **** I want to lose 37lbs in two months too :tantrum:. Do tell.

Teh only thing I have been doing is checking fat content on foods and that is all!! I also have started exercising about a 1 hour a day and water, water water!! That is all nothing big just changed my eating no cupcakes for this girl anymore well ok maybe 1 a week! lol

Good Luck you can do it!

06-12-2005, 09:46 AM
Ok we're on the same plan you just work out longer, I guess I'll have to kick it up a little nothng good comes easy (but love, teehee). We are just about in the same place (as far as cw). Well I'm impressed, and I will add another 1/2 hour and two days to my workouts (I'll try, really try)

06-12-2005, 09:31 PM
Sunday is my weigh in day. I'm either holding steady at 273 :p or down 1lb at 272. I have a dr. appt tomorrow so I'll see what that has to say and go with that. :)

I'm down 1 lb for sure. YAY! I'm seeing a new decade in my near future! 269 here I come! Awesome!

06-13-2005, 10:57 AM
-1 to 226. :)

06-14-2005, 11:19 AM
down just 1/2 a lb. :?: :tantrum: Mathematically WRONG based on my caloric deficits, but I just have to keep going. I'm almost always under 1000 calories, and I work out a LOT. It will balance out. And I am still going the right direction.

06-14-2005, 02:45 PM
It might sound strange, Sea, but you might not be eating enough. Less than 1000 kcals a day is very low and bodies recognise this and adjust accordingly.

06-14-2005, 03:28 PM
Sea, I was thinking that too. 1000 calories is not really alot of food. If you were on WW, (which is points), you would be eating 24 points, which is around 1200 calories. Especially if you work out that much.

06-14-2005, 03:34 PM
My mom was staying around 1000 to 1200 and was not losing much. She has a friend who is a Jenny Craig consultant. Her friend set her up with a free plan and said at her age she should never be under 1600 calories. It's worked she has been losing now. So I would try uping your calories as the others have said.
