OK I have a huge weakness for powdered donuts. I LOVE THEM. I can't seem to get away from them in that EVIL vending machine. I know this sounds crazy but does anyone know of anything that tastes a little like powdered donuts but not as much fat. I'm desperate here. When that time of the month comes around I'm dying for the sweet stuff. I weighed in yesterday and lost 1.4 so I'm happy about that. :cp: So anyone with any suggestions about sugar cravings in particular ... powdered donuts. Thanks!

Julie :o

I have never found a substitute so what I would do is plan for 1 or 2 mini ones and make it a time when I could sit and enjoy them. Personally my weakness is the cream filled Krispy Kreme's oh I could eat a whole dozen myself. But they are 6 or 7 points (I haven't had one in a while) but I plan for it and enjoy it.

There's a recipe that circulates from time to time for cake or cupcakes. As far as I know, all you do is mix a can of diet soda and a box of plain cake mix, then bake as directed. Most people do chocolate and cola or cherry cola, but you could do yellow cake and something like diet 7-up.

If you baked is as cupcakes and then added a tiny bit of powdered sugar on top, it might do. I'll have to look up the points.

Nothing I know even comes close to that sweet powdered taste!!! The only suggestion I would have, is to limit yourself to having only a couple to dunk in a glass of icy cold skim milk!!! Now that would be heaven!!! :D

why not instead of using sugar, use splenda instead.
