OK...heres all the stuff I've done today...
no official workout...but my kaboose was movin!

Played outside with Abby ALL DAY ( it seems!)
Pulled weeds, picked up sticks, and push mowed the lawn
Short walk with Abby
3/4 mile jog

WHEW! Im exhausted!

I just started jogging,a nd hope to build myself up to several miles...does anybody here jog/run? Got any tips?

My whole body aches, but I only walked 4km's (half of it up my mountain). I would be curious to see how much I walk at work... 8 hours of walking back and forth.. in heels, no wonder I'm sore!

Amy Jo - I used to run.. when I was first starting out I would break it down into 5 minute intervals, I started with 30 sec run, 4 min 30 sec walk, did that for a week, and then bumped it up to 1 min run, 4 min walk, and so on, until you are running for the full 5 minutes. My best advice is to REALLY stretch after, I'd spend 5-10 minutes streching to make sure you are all loose. It helped me a lot. Goodluck, I love running
